May 13, 2024NEET Mop-Up Counselling 2022: The timetable for the additional NEET UG counselling sessions in 2022 for the BDS and BSc Nursing programmes has been released by MCC. The registration period for the mop-up round’s second phase will open on December 30 and close on January 1. Additionally, the selection process will begin on December 30 and end on January 1, 2023.
Mop-up Rounds are the last rounds of NEET counselling, where the remaining seats of all counselling rounds (if any) are allocated to the candidates based on their ranks and NEET scorecards. NEET Mop-up round is directed by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) Counselling. As per the newer terms of the Supreme Court, all the qualified NEET candidates can participate in this mop-up round of counselling. This can happen irrespective of their domicile or regional area along with the reserved seat categories through the 15 per cent quota.

The All India Quota (AIQ) category will only allow 15 percent of the total seats in every participating medical college and 85 per cent of seats remain reserved for the state medical colleges for the candidates belonging to the respective states.
