NEET PG Merit List 2022

Based on the NEET AIQ merit list, the Centralised Counselling Process (CCP) will take place by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). After that, the DGHS will send the NEET AIQ merit list to state and union territories’ counselling authorities. Then the state authority will prepare the state-wise NEET merit list for state counselling.

NTA prepares the NEET 2022 rank list with marks based on the marks obtained by the students in the NEET 2022 exam. On the NEET scorecard, candidates can check the All India Rank, scores, roll number, etc. Furthermore, MCC also considers the NEET scores for preparing the NEET All India rank list 2022 of the candidates for each NEET counselling round. The merit list of NEET consists of the name and roll number of candidates arranged in successive order who will secure seats under 15% AIQ seats.

The NEET merit list 2022 will be of four types:

  • NEET PG Merit Rank: This list will include the roll numbers of candidates appearing for the entrance examination. Aspirants will be allotted a rank as per their qualifying status.
  • 50% All India Quota Rank: This list includes the candidates who qualify for NEET and are eligible for NEET PG 2022 counselling of 50% All India Quota seats. MCC will not include candidates belonging to the state of Jammu and Kashmir in the NEET PG 2022 merit list.
  • All India 50% Category Rank: A category-wise merit list mentioning the NEET PG 2022 rank of aspirants per their respective categories. This merit rank will be valid only for 50% of All India Quota seats.
  • State/Union Territories NEET PG Merit List 2022: The respective State/UTs counselling committees will derive a separate PG medical merit list based on the NEET PG 2022 merit list. MCC will use this merit list for admission to 50% of state quota seats and all seats in private colleges.
