NEET Merit List 2022 – On February 1, 2022, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announced the first round of NEET merit list for 2022, while the second round of merit list was revealed on February 26, 2022. On March 10, 2022, MCC will begin accepting registrations for mop-up rounds for the All India Quota, and the NEET mop-up result will be released on March 19, 2022.
The mop-up round will be reported from March 20 to 27, 2022. The MCC is in charge of filling the 15% of All India Quota Seats for admission to government dentistry and medical institutes. The Directorate of Medical Education and other states, on the other hand, fill the remaining 85 per cent of seats through State Quota Seats.

March 24, 2022: The final result for the mop- up round of MCC NEET counselling 2021 will be released.
March 23, 2022: Provisional result for mop-up round of NEET UG counselling 2021 released. Any discrepancy in the result to be immediately brought to the notice of MCC of DGHS until upto 8 AM of March 24, 2022.
March 9, 2022: As per the decision taken by the National Medical Commission, NTA has removed the upper age limit criteria for candidates willing to appear for UG NEET 2022 exams. Earlier, candidates could appear for the NEET undergraduate exams, until they had attained 30 years of age (General category) or 25 years of age (reserved categories).

The NEET-UG merit list 2022 for All India Quota (AIQ) will be released by MCC. On the other hand, the state-wise merit lists will be released by the respective states’ Directorate of Medical Education (DME).
Based on the NEET AIQ merit list, the Centralised Counselling Process (CCP) will be held by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). After that, the DGHS will send the NEET AIQ Merit List to counselling authorities of state and Union Territories. Then the state-wise NEET merit list will be prepared for state counselling.
NTA prepares the NEET rank list based on the marks obtained by the students in the NEET 2022 exam. On the NEET scorecard, candidates can check the All India Rank, scores, roll number, etc. Furthermore, MCC also considers the NEET scores for preparing the NEET All India rank list 2022 of the candidates for each NEET counselling round. The merit list of NEET consists of the name and roll number of candidates arranged in successive order who will be allotted 15% AIQ seats.

All India NEET Merit List 2022 will consist of all candidates who have appeared for NEET. Through the All India NEET merit list, you can find the overall positions of the candidates, i.e. All India Rank (AIR). The factors like qualifying status and the state they belong to will not be considered while making this merit list.
AIQ merit list will be released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). It will contain the names of those candidates who have cleared the NEET 2022 exam and are eligible for admission to 15% AIQ seats.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India will conduct the Counselling for All India Quota Seats for admission to Deemed Universities, Central Universities, Seats of ESIC, and AFMC, BHU & AMU.
Candidates may visit the website – mcc.nic.in to apply for All India Quota seats as per the directions of DGHS. After that, the NEET Counselling for the same will be conducted. If the AIQ seats are not filled in a particular state, then those seats will be given to the state quota upon the approval of the concerned authority.
Online UG Counselling Schedule is also available on the official website. This would help candidates to go through various UG MBBS Counselling colleges across India regarding their tentative dates. MCC and State UG Counseling will conduct these.
Once the 15% AIQ seats have been filled, the remaining 85% of the seats will be filled based on the state rank of the candidates in the NEET 2022. So, all the states will prepare their own merit list. It will prepare NEET MBBS Rank List for seats under the state, management, and NRI quotas to provide admission.
Admission to the private colleges will also be made through the state quota NEET Merit List. However, admissions to Jammu & Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana will be solely based on state counselling.

NEET UG Counselling will be started once the NEET results are declared. Candidates will be able to register from the official website.
NEET Counselling for 15% All India Quota/Deemed/Central Universities/ ESIC and AFMC (MBBS/BDS) seats will be conducted based on the NEET AIQ Merit List. While the State-level NEET Counselling 2022 will be conducted based on the state merit list.
