What After NEET PG Result?
NEET PG is a single eligibility cum entrance exam. For admission into various MD/ MS/ PG Diploma courses, candidates need to undergo counselling. The information about how the candidates need to proceed after the declaration of the result is given below.
The candidates who have successfully cleared the NEET PG cut-off will have to appear in NEET PG counselling. The NEET counselling round 1 will start in October. Counselling for rounds 2 and 3 will happen in October and November 2022, respectively.
NBE shares the NEET PG result data with DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services) & state government/ counselling authorities.
The NBE will put up a merit list with category-wise data on its official website. The concerned states prepare this NEET merit list based on the applicable regulations, eligibility criteria, guidelines, reservation policies, benefits for in-service candidates, and rural services(if applicable).
Finally, centralised counselling is conducted by the concerned state for the allotment of NEET PG seats based on the factors mentioned above.
