An extra prerequisite would be a doctorate in Economics, research or teaching experience in Economics, or publications in peer-reviewed journals.

The RBI Grade B Prelims 2025 consist of 200 questions providing a total of 200 marks. Each question in Phase I carries 1 mark. The exam paper is divided into 4 sections: English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and General Awareness.
