SBI PO Selection Process 2023: The State Bank of India prescribes the selection procedure for SBI Probationary Officers (PO) in its official notification. The bank conducts the PO Prelims and Mains exam online. The Prelims exam is qualifying in nature. However, the candidate’s performance in the Mains exam and Interview round will be used to create a final merit list. Read on to know more.
The SBI PO 2023 notification is expected to be released soon. The following are the phases for the selection of Probationary Officers:
Candidates who will obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the prelims exam will be eligible to attempt the mains exam. Similarly, those who obtain the minimum cut-off in the mains exam will qualify for the final phase, i.e. Interview.
The first stage for SBI PO 2023 recruitment is the Prelims exam. The Prelims exam has three sections: English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. The total time duration of the examination is one hour.
The questions will be multiple choice, with the applicant selecting one correct answer from a list of five. The candidate will receive one mark for each correct response, but 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer; however, no marks will be subtracted for an unattempted question.
