Candidates must be an Indian national/ Indian origin. He/She may be a subject of Nepal/Bhutan or A person of Indian origin from any of these countries is eligible to apply:- Pakistan, Burma, Eastern Africa (Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya, Zaire, Malwai, Ethiopia, Uganda), Sri Lanka, Vietnam.

SSC CGL Physical Standards Specifications
The candidates are supposed to meet predefined physical standards before they apply for the SSC CGL exam for the posts of Inspector or Sub Inspector in (Central Excise/ Examiner/ Preventive Officer) or CBN. Physical Standard Parameters
There will be a relaxation of 5 cm for the students falling in the category of Garwalis, Assames, Gorkhas, and ST students.
