TS EAMCET Updates: JNTUH released the TS EAMCET 2023 exam dates on the official website. The authorities will conduct the TS EAMCET 2023 engineering exam from May 7 to 9, 2023. The authorities have announced the agriculture and medicine exam dates. The engineering stream exams will be conducted from May 7 to 9, 2023, and agriculture and medicine will be conducted from May 10 to 11, 2023. After the exams are concluded, the results will be released for agriculture, medicine and Engineering.

Latest Changes in TS EAMCET 2023

TS EAMCET Second Year Engineering and Pharmacy Admission

JNTUH is conducting the TS EAMCET exams in 2023 for candidates to gain admission to the second year of engineering and pharmacy courses. The candidates should hold a Diploma or a BSc. degree in Mathematics.

TS EAMCET 2023 Exam Pattern

The exam will be a Computer- Based Test conducted in 2 slots. Each slot will be 3 hours in duration. The questions in the paper will be framed from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Out of the 160 questions, 80 will be from Mathematics, 40 from Physics and 40 from Chemistry. All the questions will be of objective type and carry 1 mark each. There will be no negative marking for any question answered incorrectly.

TS EAMCET Reservation

Names of the candidates will appear on the rank list if they have obtained a minimum of 25% of the maximum marks. Having said that, no minimum qualifying marks have been prescribed for candidates belonging to the SC or ST categories.

TS EAMCET Exam Cities 

There are 23 test zones in which the TS EAMCET exam will be conducted. Each zone has multiple examination centres. Candidates can go through the complete list of examination centres for TS EAMCET 2023 to select their preferred test venue.

TS EAMCET 2023 Question Paper Languages

The TS EAMCET exam will be conducted in three languages – English, Urdu and Telugu. When choosing the test medium, candidates can either select the preferred medium as English or choose a bilingual medium as per their preferred language along with English.

About TS EAMCET 2023 Exam

The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUH), Hyderabad, conducts the TS EAMCET exams on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). It is a state-level entrance examination that provides admission to candidates in the undergraduate engineering and agricultural programmes into various private and government colleges in the state of Telangana.

Through TS EAMCET, candidates can get admission into various engineering and agriculture undergraduate programmes. Some of the courses offered through TS EAMCET are 

B.E., B.Tech., B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering., B.Tech. in Dairy Technology, B.Tech. in Food Technology, B.Tech. in Biotechnology, B. Pharm, Bachelor in Food Science, B. Sc. in Forestry, B. Sc. (Hons.) in Horticulture and B. Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture. TS EAMCET is a Computer- Based Test, and the exam is conducted in three languages: English, Urdu and Telugu. The exam is conducted in 23 test zones of the state, with each zone having multiple examination centres.

TS EAMCET Registration Fee

The exam conducting body will officially notify the dates within which the candidates will be able to submit their application forms along with paying a fee of INR 800/- for the applications. The application fee is INR 400/- for differently-abled candidates and those belonging to the SC/ ST categories. The application fee can be paid using Credit Card, Debit Card or net banking.

Candidates who cannot register by this timeline will be allowed to submit their application forms after the due date. However, a late fee will be applicable for the late submission. The fee can increase with the increase in the candidates’ time to submit their applications. Depending on the time taken, the late fee applicable for the candidate can range from INR 250/- to INR 5000/-. 

TS EAMCET Eligibility Criteria 2023 

Candidates are advised to go through the below-mentioned criteria before filling up the application forms to find out if they are eligible to appear for the exams.

  • Nationality – Candidates must be Indian nationals to apply for the exam. Even Persons of Indian origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholders are eligible to apply for Telangana EAMCET 2023. 
  • Domicile – Candidates belonging to the state of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh can apply for the exams.
  • Age – Candidates should be at least 16 years of age to apply for the Engineering courses of TS EAMCET exams. No maximum age limit has been specified for candidates to fill up the TS EAMCET application forms. Candidates who are looking forward to seeking admission in the B. Tech courses of Dairy Technology, Agricultural Engineering and Food Technology should be within the age range of 17 to 22 years. For SC and ST candidates, the upper age limit is 25 years.
  • Minimum Marks Requirement – Candidates who are appearing for their Class 12 exams are eligible to submit their application forms. They should have appeared for their 10+2 exams or passed them with a minimum of 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories should secure a minimum of 40% marks.

TS EAMCET 2023  – Do’s and Don’ts

The Do’s

  • Reach the examination centre at least 2 hours before the commencement of exams.
  • You will get the notifications regarding the exam, such as the time slot allotted to you for your exam, in your registered email address and phone number. Double-check the information that you have provided in the form.
  • Remember to carry a ballpoint pen in blue or black, a copy of the completely filled application form, TS EAMCET admit card 2023, a copy of the filled-in and signed self-declaration form and a category certificate (if applicable) to the examination hall.
  • You are required to abide by the Covid-19 guidelines in the examination hall.

The Don’ts

  • Do not reach the exam hall late.
  • Do not carry calculators, loose sheets, mobile phones, or any electronic gadgets to the examination hall.
  • When preparing for the examination, prepare for the subjects well ahead in advance and do not leave any new or complex topics for the end. The last hours should only be allocated for revision.
