UPTET Cut-off 2021-22: The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has released the UPTET Cut-off 2022 on the official website in an online format. The UPTET 2021-22 cut-off has been released along with the UPTET Result on April 08, 2022. For applicants belonging to the SC, ST, and OBC categories, the qualifying marks are 55 per cent, while for the general category, the qualifying scores are 60 per cent.

How to Download UPTET Cut-off?

The step-wise procedure to download UPTET 2022 cut-off is mentioned below:

1st Step:  Visit the official website of UPBEB.

2nd Step: Click on the link for the UPTET cut-off.

3rd Step: Candidates will get the list of all districts where they have to choose their respective districts.

4th Step: Click on the merit list and download the UPTET district-wise cut-off list.

After downloading the cut-off of UPTET 2021-22 candidates must check their name, roll number, and exam registration/application number. If a candidate finds their details in the merit list, they have qualified for the next round of the recruitment process.

Factors Affecting UPTET Cut-off

There will be a separate merit list for Class 1 to 5 and Class 6 to 8. While calculating UPTET 2022 Cut-off, the examination authority will consider the below factors.

  • – Total number of candidates appeared for the exam.
  • – Difficulty level of the exam for Paper 1 and Paper 2.
  • – Total number of vacancies available for Class 1 to 5 and Class 6 to 8.

How to Calculate UPTET Score?

The score of candidates will be calculated as per the UPTET Paper 1 marking scheme. Candidates will secure 1 mark for each correct answer while no mark will be deducted for any incorrect answer marked by candidates in the exam.

UPTET Score Validity

UPTET 2021-22 score will be valid for 3 years from the date of issuance. Candidates can use the cut-off score for applying for the teacher’s recruitment in State Government Schools until three years from the date of result announcement. Apart from that many private schools in Uttar Pradesh may consider UPTET Eligibility Certificate for their recruitment process.

UPTET Exam Analysis

The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) held the UPTET 2021-22 exam for papers I and II on January 23, 2022. The overall difficulty level of the UPTET 2021-22 exam was moderate, according to applicants who attempted it. The majority of candidates found the UPTET Paper 2 to be more challenging as compared to UPTET Paper 1 exam.

We visited one of the UPTET exam centres in Noida to get feedback from candidates who took the Paper 1 & 2 exam. Take a glance at how the students responded in the below sections:

UPTET Paper 1 Analysis & Review 2021-22

  • Chandan stated, “Paper 1 was moderately challenging.  Direct questions based on Piaget, Kohlberg and Vygotsky theories were included in the Child Development and Pedagogy part. The sections on mathematics and Hindi were simple. In terms of difficulty, the EVS and English language sections were moderate.”
  • Ankit stated, “The math section included questions from Time and Work, and other topics. The EVS portion had a moderate level of difficulty. The Sanskrit section consisted of simple questions. The overall level of difficulty was low.”
  • Shweta said, “The exam was simple, and all of the questions were taken from the UPTET syllabus.” The math section was easy, while the English section was moderate.”

The overall difficulty level for the Paper 1 exam was low. However, the good attempt for UPTET Paper-1 exam was 135-140 questions.

UPTET Paper 2 Analysis & Review 2021-22

  • Vinay said, “Paper 2 was of a moderate difficulty. The exam’s questions were all content-based.”
  • Ashok stated, “The paper was difficult in nature. The section on child development and pedagogy was quite difficult, with two or three questions being particularly demanding.”
  • Shubham mentioned, “Paper 1 was easy, and Paper 2 was more difficult. Among other subjects, Child Development and Pedagogy proved challenging. The questions were drawn from the UPTET syllabus.”

The overall difficulty level for the Paper 2 exam was moderate to difficult in nature. However, the good attempt for UPTET Paper-2 exam was 106-116 questions.
