UPTET Salary

The UPTET Salary for Primary Teacher and Upper Primary Teachers varies from place to place depending upon whether or not the location of posting is a rural, metropolitan city, or other big city.

• The UPTET Pay Band is Rs 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs 4200.
• Therefore, the initial basic pay is Rs 9300 + Rs 4200 = Rs 13500.
• The UP government maintains the salary structure established by the 7th Pay Commission, which recommends pay increments for teachers. As a result, a UPTET teacher’s compensation is revised every year with an additional increment.
• The increment is available twice a year, in July and January, and candidates can pick either of these periods.
• Because of the house-rent allowance, the in-hand salary varies from rural to urban.

In addition to the UPTET Basic Salary, UPTET qualified teachers are also eligible for the following allowances:
