Following some preparation tips while studying is a smart way to learn the concepts and perform well in the exams. Class 7 students can refer to the preparation tips listed below and implement them in their daily studies.

  • Proper Time Management: Students should have a timetable and strictly follow it so that they can complete the syllabus on time. They can study three subjects daily and allocate at least an hour for each subject. This helps them prepare for all the subjects equally and improves their time management skills.
  • Make Short Notes: Students should make a habit of writing down important points while studying a particular topic. This is helpful during revision, where they can just refer to the short notes instead of reading the entire chapter.
  • Include Flowcharts and Diagrams : While writing long answers, students can also include flow charts and diagrams. Diagrams visually represent the topic and make reading more interesting and fun. So instead of memorising the topic, students can remember the diagram and explain in their own words.
  • Understand the Concept Behind Complex Formulae: Maths and Science are subjects with many formulas, some of which are complex and difficult to memorise. Therefore students need to understand the concept behind the formula and how it is derived. This improves their ability to retain information and prevent them from rote learning.
  • Practice Questions and Take Regular Tests: Students should practice the numericals given at the end of every chapter. In addition, they can also solve previous year’s question papers to get an idea of the exam pattern and the types of questions asked. Furthermore, they can take tests on Embibe to evaluate their performance.
