AP EAMCET Dress Code 2022-23: JNTU Ananthpur, on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education, will issue the AP EAMCET admit card tentatively in June 2023 on its official website. Candidates who register for the AP EAMCET will be able to download the hard copy of the hall ticket and check the instructions about the AP EAMCET exam dress code. The AP EAMCET 2023 for engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy streams will be conducted separately.

In 2021, the AP EAMCET was renamed AP EAPCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering  Agriculture and Pharmacy Entrance Test). After clearing the EAPCET exams, candidates will get admission to various undergraduate colleges in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

AP EAMCET Dress Code 2023: Documents to Be Carried

Candidates must carry the following documents in the AP EAPCET exam hall.

  • A hard copy of the AP EAMCET hall ticket
  • Valid photo ID card (Aadhar/Voter ID/PAN/License, Driver’s, etc.)
  • A 50 ml personal hand sanitiser
  • Application form printout
  • A transparent water bottle
  • N95 face mask

AP EAMCET 2023 Dress Code: Materials to Avoid on Exam Day

Candidates appearing for the exam must wear light-colored and comfortable clothes to the exam centre. Check here to know the list of items that candidates are not allowed to bring to the exam hall:

  • Sunglasses
  • Metallic ornaments like rings, chains, bracelets, and so on

AP EAMCET 2023 Dress Code: Important Instructions

Aspirants of AP EAPCET 2023 must follow the below-listed instructions without any excuses.

  • Candidates must ensure that the details printed on the AP EAMCET hall ticket, like name, date of birth, gender, category, and stream, are correct. In case of any discrepancy, it must be brought to the notice of the AP EAPCET helpline centre through email for necessary action.
  • Admit Card must be shown at the entrance of the test centre and in the examination hall, failing which candidates will not be allowed to appear for the test. 
  • For candidates to be able to reach the exam centre on time, they should visit the centre a day before the exam date.
  • Candidates must download the hall ticket from the official website and bring it along with proof of identification like a 10+2 hall ticket/passport/PAN card/voter ID/Aadhar card/driving licence, etc. 
  • The candidate must carry a black/blue ballpoint pen and fill in the online application form along with an attested copy of the caste certificate (if any) to the exam hall.
  • Candidates will be permitted into the exam hall from 07:30 AM to 09:00 AM for the forenoon session and 01:30 PM to 03:00 PM for the afternoon session for identification.
  • The check-in procedure inside the exam hall includes capturing biometric information (candidate’s photo and left-hand thumb impression). This is a security feature that will allow AP EAPCET 2023 authorities to verify your identity and also to avoid impersonation. Therefore, candidates must not apply external materials like Mehandi and ink on their hands or feet.
  • Complete the online application form by affixing a photo duly self-attested. Candidates should hand over the form to the invigilator after signing in their presence. Otherwise, the candidate’s result will be withheld. 
  • The candidate will not be permitted into the exam hall once the exam starts and will not be allowed to leave the exam hall till the end of the examination. Candidates will not be allowed into the examination hall if they are late by one minute.
  • Follow the instructions announced by the invigilator. After login, go through the instructions on the computer screen and follow the list of symbols for answering the online examination.
  • If candidates face hardware or software problems with the system or computer provided, they must immediately inform invigilators to rectify it. The officials will provide another system for candidates if the problem is not rectified within a reasonable time. Authorities will compensate for the time lost for changing the system.
  • Carrying a calculator, mathematical log tables, pager, cell phone, watches (all types), large spectacles, any other electronic gadgets, and loose sheets of paper into the examination hall is prohibited. Authorities will not entertain any clarifications or doubts related to the question paper in the exam hall.
  • The candidate is permitted to write the examination only once, though they have submitted multiple applications. Further, the candidates are informed to appear for the test as per the date and session mentioned in the hall ticket, failing which they will be treated as absent.
  • Adopting any unfair means and any act of impersonation during the exam will lead to the cancellation of the candidature.
  • There will be no guaranteed security facility to safeguard your valuable devices or personal belongings outside the examination hall.
  • Issue of hall ticket and appearance at the test does not automatically entitle the candidate to admission into a college.
  • The exam authorities will provide papers for rough work in the exam hall. Candidates must hand over the rough papers to the invigilators concerned after the end of the examination.
  • Candidates must preserve their AP EAPCET hall tickets until admission into the college.
