According to CBSE Class 10 exam statistics, a total of 18,85,885 candidates registered while 18,73,015 appeared for the exam. A total of 18,85,885 candidates registered for CBSE Class 10 examination. Out of the total registered candidates, 18,73,015 candidates appeared in the exam. A total of 12,870 candidates have skipped the CBSE Class 10 examination which was held in pen and paper-based mode.

The overall pass percentage this year for Class 10 is 91.46%. The pass percentage has increased 0.36 % this year as compared to that of the previous year, which was 91.1%

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in its official statement said that a total of 17,13,121 have qualified CBSE Class 10 examination. A total of 1,60,000 candidates have failed to qualify the CBSE Class 10 exam. These candidates were unable to secure even 33% of qualifying marks. The passing marks of CBSE Class 10 are 165 marks out of a total of 500 marks.
