COMEDK Counselling Procedure 2023

The counselling process is being conducted in the following steps:

COMEDK Counselling Registration and Document Uploading

Shortlisted candidates whose names are there in the COMEDK merit list can participate in the COMEDK 2023 counselling process. They must visit the official website at comedk.org and log in to their portals by entering their Application Sequence Number or the User ID and Password.

Now, they must proceed with their registration, where they must fill in their basic and academic details. They must confirm their candidature by paying Rs. 5000/- as part of the tuition fee through the online payment mode using a Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking. The next step of the registration process is uploading the documents.

COMEDK UGET Counselling Choice Filling

Once the documents are successfully verified, the choice-filling process is conducted for COMEDK counselling. Candidates must log in to their candidate portals and fill in their preferences for all the colleges and courses in the COMEDK choice filling out the form. Make sure to double-check the preferences because candidates are not allowed to make any changes once the deadline ends.

Please note that the choice filling form is only available for the candidates whose document verification is completed. It is advised to keep checking the document verification status.

COMEDK Counselling Seat Allotment and Fee Payment

After the choice-filling deadline, the exam authorities declare the results of the seat allotment process. The official website will declare the first round of seat allotment results. The choices of the candidates are analysed, and seats are allotted based on the merit list prepared by the authorities. Take a look at the process of how COMEDK counselling will be done.

Several factors play a role in the seat allotment process, such as merit, choice filling, and the availability of seats under the participating institutes. Once the seat is allocated in the COMEDK counselling process, a candidate gets the following acceptance/rejection options:

• Accept: If satisfied with the allotted seat and are not looking for the next round, select this option. Candidates must immediately pay the required fee to confirm their admission seat.
• Accept and Upgrade: If candidates are satisfied with the given seat but still hope to get a better seat than this in the next round, then this option is for them. Moreover, they have to pay the required fee for this. If they don’t get any other seats in the next rounds, don’t worry, as they will not lose the seat they have already been allotted.
• Reject and Upgrade: If they are not satisfied but willing to participate in the next round, they can select this option. Once candidates get the desired seat in the next round, they can pay the acceptance fee and confirm their seats.
• Reject and Withdraw: They can select this option if they want to quit and do not wish to participate further for any seat.

Candidates will have to deposit a sum of ₹55,000 at the time of their seat allotment to confirm their admission seats. They must pay the remaining tuition fee when reporting at the institute.

COMEDK Counselling Final Admission

In the final stage of the counselling, candidates will have to report to their allotted institute. They will be required to complete the final admission procedures. After the process, they can collect their last admission allotment letter and the fee payment receipt. This allotment letter will mention the complete details regarding the commencement of classes and other important schedules.

Surrender/ Cancellation Process of Allocated Seats
