The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has released COMEDK UGET 2025 notification for admission to B.E./ B.Tech courses. The exam will be held on May 2025(Tentatively) and the result will tentatively be released in June 2025. The counselling process will begin after the announcement of COMEDK results in 2025. Qualified candidates must visit the official website and enter the application number and password to register for the COMEDK UGET seat allotment 2025.

The seat allotment process takes place after the mock allotment following the choice filling and locking process. COMEDK UGET 2025 seat allocation will be entirely done online. How To Check COMEDK UGET Seat Allotment 2025 Results?

Candidates can check the seat allotment via online mode. 

• 1st Step: Visit the official website of COMEDK: comedk.org and enter the login details.
• 2nd Step: Candidates should look for the link to check seat allotment results for the round.
• 3rd Step: The candidate’s seat allotment details will be displayed on the screen.
• 4th Step: The candidates can check the details mentioned. Lastly, download and take the printout for future reference.

COMEDK UGET Counselling 2025

The COMEDK counselling process is providing the candidate with three opportunities to grab a seat according to their preference. The second round will be held for unfilled, cancelled candidates who do not get a chance in the first round, surrendered or newly added seats. The same will be done in the next round of COMEDK UGET counselling. 

COMEDK UGET 2025 Seat Allotment Process

The COMEDK UGET seat allotment process for candidates will be carried out in three rounds. Check the category-wise seat allotment process carried out by COMEDK.

General Merit Candidates

There will be two rounds for the General Merit candidates

• Round 1: The seats will be allocated only in General Merit Quota.
• Round 2: The allocation of seats will be done only if the seats remain vacant after the seat allotment to Christian, Tulu and HKR (Hyderabad-Karnataka) minority categories.

Hyderabad-Karnataka/ Tulu/ Karnataka Christian Minority Candidates

The rounds for Hyderabad-Karnataka/ Tulu/ Karnataka Christian Minority candidates are as follows,

• Round 1: Candidates would be considered for the seat allotment process in General Merit as per merit list and choice preference. If seats remain vacant in General Merit, they will be allocated seats in their respective category. For the allotment, the following order of preference is followed:
  General Merit > HKR > Christian-Karnataka > Tulu.
• Round 2: Depending on the vacant seats, the preference of the seat allotment would be HKR > Christian-Karnataka > Tulu.

Non-Karnataka Christian Minority Candidates

The rounds for Non-Karnataka Christian Minority candidates are as follows,

• Round 1: Seats are not available in Round 1.
• Round 2: Only vacant seats in the Karnataka-Christian category will be available to non-Karnataka-Christians based on their merit and choice preference.

Documents Required for COMEDK Seat Allotment

The following documents must be submitted during the COMEDK UGET seat allotment process.

• Class 10 mark sheet and passing certificate
• Class 12/ 2nd PUC mark sheet and passing certificate
• A copy of the COMEDK application form
• COMEDK 2025 admit card
• Unique photo ID proof
• COMEDK rank card
• Demand draft of INR 55,000 in favour of COMEDK payable at Bangalore
• Allotment letter
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• NATA scorecard (for Architecture aspirants)

What After COMEDK UGET 2025 Seat Allotment?

The candidate can take any of these steps after the seat allotment process of COMEDK UGET 2025 is accomplished.

• Candidates can accept the seat allotment:  If the candidates are satisfied with the allotted seat, they will not be eligible to participate in the second round of COMEDK UGET counselling. The candidates have to confirm their seats by completing the payment of Rs. 55,000.
• Candidates can accept and upgrade: In this step, the candidates are eligible for the second round of counselling. The candidate has to make the payment applicable for the second round of COMEDK UGET counselling to confirm their seats. If no higher preference is available, the seats allotted in the first round will be retained.
• Candidates can reject and upgrade: The candidates can give up the seat allotted in the first round and participate in the second round of counselling. In the second round, the candidates must confirm their seats by paying the fee via demand draft or reporting at the allotted college.
• Candidates can reject or withdraw: The candidate can reject the seat allotted in the first round and will not be eligible for the second round of counselling.

The highlights are as follows,

• The seat allotment will be done separately for all categories (General/ HKR/Tulu Minority/Karnataka Christian Minority/Non-Christian Minority).
• Candidates can upgrade/reject/withdraw after the seat allotment process.
• Candidates who accept the seat allotment process can download the verification card for further admission process.
• The candidate must confirm the seat by paying a prescribed fee.
• Candidates need to produce the necessary documents at the time of seat allotment.

Important Instructions

Some of the important instructions are as follows,

• The information/choice filled by the candidates during the registration will be considered as their preference.
• No requests for change in preference will be entertained. 
• For each preference of the candidate, the authority will check the availability of category-wise seats.
• The candidate has to bring certain documents for the verification process.
• If the seats in a particular category for a candidate’s preference are unavailable, then the authorities will find the seats in the next preference order.
