IBPS PO Mains Exam: Changes in Exam Pattern

The exam pattern is one of the most important aspects as it tells about the number of questions, types of questions, and much more. First, let’s read the important changes made to the exam pattern of IBPS PO Mains Exam 2020. 

  1. The section named as ‘Quantitative Aptitude’ has been renamed as ‘Data Interpretation and Analysis’
  2. The section named as ‘Computer Aptitude’ has been merged with the section named as Reasoning Ability section
  3. The section named as ‘Computer Awareness’ has been removed and has been re-introduced as ‘Computer Aptitude’ 
  4. With the increase in the duration of exam, the difficulty level of the question paper has also been increased
  5. The new exam duration is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
  6. The number of questions asked in the examination have been decreased to 157 from 200.
  7. The mains examination of IBPS PO 2020 will include Letter writing for 25 marks which has to be done in 30 minutes and English descriptive paper comprising Essay.
