  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intent of permanent settlement in India.

Note: Candidates belonging to points #2, #3, #4, and #5 must hold an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.
