IBPS RRB Exam Day Guidelines 2022: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will conduct IBPS RRB Office Assistant and Officer Scale 1 Prelims on August 07, 13, 14, 20, and 21, 2022. Candidates appearing for the exam must follow the exam day guidelines. Furthermore, the officials release social distancing and COVID-19 safety measures that candidates should follow on the exam day.

Candidates have to carry their IBPS RRB admit cards and photo ID proof to the exam centre. Furthermore, they must check all the instructions mentioned on the admit card carefully. IBPS RRB Exam Day Guidelines 2022

The first thing is to go through the general guidelines for the IBPS RRB exam. Check the important instructions below:

  1. Candidates will have to carry the printout of the e-admit card along with a valid photo ID proof.
  2. A photocopy of the ID proof along with the original copy is needed. The list of documents that can be carried as valid ID proof are as follows:
    –> Aadhaar Card
    –> Voter ID
    –> PAN Card
    –> Driving License
    –> Passport
    –> Bank Passbook with the photograph, etc.
    Note that Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License are not accepted as valid ID proof.
  3. The candidate’s name as appeared on the admit card must match with the details mentioned on the photo ID card.
  4. Candidates will have to staple the admit card printout and the photocopy of photo ID proof which must be submitted at the end of the exam by putting it in the designated dropbox. Also, remember to mention the Registration/Roll no. on the photocopy of the photo ID proof.
  5. The candidate must reach the exam center as per the reporting time specified in the Email and SMS forwarded a day prior to the examination. If a candidate is not intimated through Email/SMS, he/she must follow the reporting time mentioned on the hall ticket.
  6. The test will begin after the completion of formalities like checking of attendance, obtaining a signature on the call letter, and photo capture, etc.
  7. The candidate must sign in the respective space provided on the call letter in the presence of the invigilator.
  8. Candidates will not be permitted to leave the examination hall till the time for the test is over and the test administrator has given permission to leave.
  9. Do not carry any banned items to the exam hall.
  10. Candidates are allowed to appear only once for the examination. Multiple appearances will lead to the cancellation of candidature.
  11. Any request for change of center/venue/date/session will not be entertained.
  12. Candidates are advised to avoid wearing ornaments like Ring, Earrings, Nose-pin, Chain/Necklace, Pendants, Badge, brooch, etc.
  13. A person with Benchmark Disability should contact the Test Centre Administrator of the test venue at least 30 minutes before the time of examination for assistance in seating if needed.
  14. Any canvassing for selection including change of date, time, and venue shall be considered as disqualification

Social Distancing Guidelines For IBPS RRB Exam

Let’s go through the IBPS RRB exam day instructions on social distancing and other COVID 19 precautionary measures from below.

  1. Candidates must report at least 15 minutes before the reporting time.
  2. The candidate’s Roll Number and the Lab Number will not be displayed outside the exam venue, and the same will be intimated to the candidates at the time of entering the exam venue.
  3. Candidates must wear their masks, and they can carry their sanitiser (50 ml – in a transparent bottle)
  4. Candidates must not share any of their personal belongings with others.
  5. The candidates should maintain a safe social distance from one another.
  6. Candidates should stand in the row as per the instructions provided at the venue.
  7. If a candidate is availing services of a scribe, then the scribe should also bring their own Gloves, N95 Mask, sanitiser (50ml), and transparent water bottle. Wearing a mask is compulsory. Both candidate and Scribe will require to be wearing N95 Mask.
  8. All candidates will be checked with Thermo guns at the entry point for temperature.
  9. If any candidate is observed to be having above-normal temperature (> 99.14° F) or displaying any symptoms of the virus, they will not be allowed entry into the venue.

Arogya Setu App Guidelines For IBPS RRB Exam

Check the role of the Arogya Setu App on the IBPS RRB exam day below:

  1. Candidates must have installed the latest version of the ‘Arogya Setu’ App on their mobile phones.
  2. The Aarogya Setu status must show the candidate’s risk factor.
  3. A candidate will have to display this status to the Security Guard at the entrance of the exam venue.
  4. In case a candidate does not have a smartphone, he/she will have to bring in a signed declaration to this effect and show the same to the Security Guard at the entrance of the exam venue.
  5. Candidates with Moderate or High-Risk Status on AarogyaSetu App will not be allowed entry.
  6. In case any of the responses in the declaration suggest COVID 19 infection/symptoms, the candidate will not be permitted inside the exam venue.
  7. Candidates will have to display the AarogyaSetu status at the entry gate. Thereafter, candidates will be required to switch off their mobile phones and deposit it at the designated location to be collected while leaving the hall.

Candidate’s Registration

  1. Registration of candidates will be done through photo capture.
  2. The photograph will be taken while the candidate is standing.
  3. A seat number will be given to the candidate.

Rough Sheet, ID Proof Management and Call Letter

  1. Rough sheets will be kept at the desk.
  2. No additional sheets will be provided.
  3. Candidates need to drop the call letter, rough sheets, and ID proof copy in the boxes provided at the exit while leaving the exam hall.
  4. The scribe form, call letter, and ID proof copy are required to be dropped in the same manner.
  5. The drop boxes for rough sheets, call letters, and ID proof copies will be separate.

Post Examination

On the completion of a shift, candidates should move out in an orderly manner without crowding.
