Note: If you want to quit the counselling rounds, you can do so before the 5th round of seat allocation, and your JEE Advanced counselling fees will be returned to you. However, after the 5th round, the exit will not be allowed and no refund will be available.
During mock seat allocation rounds, the students can understand the process. Based on the mock allocation rounds, students can also modify their final choices.
After you have filled the choices, you will go through rounds for seat allocation. If you accept a seat during a particular round, you can download the provisional allotment letter from the official website and pay the seat acceptance fees.
If you are not satisfied with the allocated seats, you have 3 choices while considering choices for institutes:
During the allocation rounds, if candidates want to accept a seat, they will have to pay a seat acceptance fee. This is the same as the JEE advanced counselling fees. The seat acceptance fee will be included in the semester fees after the admission has been confirmed in the preferred institute.
Category | Seat Allocation Fees |
General | 35,000 |
SC/PwD/ST/OBC | 15,000 |
Note: The JEE advanced counselling fees have to be paid using the e-challan method.
After you have paid the seat acceptance fees, you have to visit your respective reporting centres and verify your documents. Candidates are required to carry original documents with a set of 2 photocopies. Officials working at the reporting centre will verify the documents required for JEE Advanced counselling and submit the photocopies for the process.
