SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2023

The officials prescribe the eligibility criteria for the recruitment exam. Aspirants who wish to appear for the test must fulfil the requirements specified by the authority. Eligibility is one of the crucial factors that determine the selection of candidates. Failing it will lead to disqualification. The eligibility criteria comprise minimum qualification, age limit, qualifying marks, etc.

Educational Qualification

  • A bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification acknowledged by the Central Government is required.
  • Individuals currently in their final year or semester of graduation can also apply on a provisional basis. However, if selected for an interview, they must provide evidence of having successfully completed their graduation.
  • Those with an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should verify their IDD’s passing date. Individuals holding a Chartered Accountant qualification are also eligible to apply.

SBI PO Application Form 2023

The bank released the Probationary Officer application form link online on September 7, 2023. Aspirants who meet the eligibility criteria can fill out the application form on the official SBI website, i.e., sbi.co.in or use the SBI PO application form article for the direct link. The officials will reject incomplete applications. Hence, aspirants must ensure they fill in all the details carefully. Check below the steps to apply for SBI PO:

1st Step: Registration

Candidates must provide necessary details such as name, father’s name, email ID, date of birth, etc., to register for the recruitment exam. Upon successful registration, aspirants will receive mail-in credentials and application numbers.

2nd Step: Fill out the Application Form

Login with the credentials and fill in personal, academic and contact details to complete the application form.

3rd Step: Uploading of Documents

Aspirants must upload a scanned image of their passport-size photograph and signature as per the specifications.

4th Step: Payment of Application Fee

Candidates must pay a fee of INR 750/- via any online payment mode. No fee is applicable to SC/ST/PwD aspirants. 

5th Step: Submission of Form

SBI PO Selection Process

The SBI PO recruitment consists of the following three phases:

  • 1st Phase: Preliminary Exam (Prelims)
  • 2nd Phase: Main Exam (Mains)
  • 1st Phase: Psychometric Test (Interview & Group Exercises)

Candidates need to qualify in all the stages with the minimum cutoff marks. The officials will consider the performance of aspirants in the main exam and interview rounds while calculating the final result. Prelims are only qualifying in nature. The final result will be available online mode. Selected candidates will be eligible for recruitment as probationary officers in the State Bank of India.

SBI PO Admit Card 2023

The officials will issue the hall ticket online around two weeks before the exam date. Separate admit cards will be issued for each stage of the recruitment process. The applicants must download the hall ticket and carry the same to the examination, along with an identity card. The officials will not allow aspirants without the admit card to appear for the exam.

The SBI PO admit card contains the exam details such as exam centre, timings, exam date, etc. In case of any discrepancy in the hall ticket, aspirants must inform the concerned authority for correction.

SBI PO Result 2023

The bank releases the SBI PO result via online mode. Candidates can access the result for any selection stage online on the official website.
