TS EAMCET Marks Pattern 2023: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released the exam dates. The exam for the Engineering course will be conducted from May 7 to 11, 2023, and for agriculture and pharmacy courses, the exam will be conducted on May 12 to 14, 2023. TS EAMCET Marks Pattern 2023: Exam Highlights

Before getting into the TS EAMCET marks pattern or BIPC EAMCET total marks, students must check out the exam highlights to avoid missing the deadlines. This year, the TS EAMCET exam will be conducted online in nearly 23 Telangana and Andhra Pradesh test zones. Out of these 23 test zones, 18 zones are in Telangana itself. TS EAMCET 2023 Marking Scheme

The TS EAMCET exam does not have a negative marking scheme for wrong answers. No marks will be awarded for an incorrect or no response, while 1 mark will be awarded for a correct answer. There are two special scenarios where marking may be affected:

  • If a question is dropped after the final key has been released, all the candidates will be awarded 1 mark, irrespective of whether they attempted the question.
  • If a question has multiple correct answers, all candidates who entered all or one correct entry will be awarded 1 mark.

TS EAMCET Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The primary objective of the TS EAMCET exam is to test the analytical and logical thinking of the candidates based on the topics they have already covered in classes 11th and 12th. The TS EAMCET syllabus encompasses the important chapters of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology, and Botany prescribed by the state board. As part of the preparation process, candidates often consult NCERT textbooks for Classes 11 and 12 as well.

TS EAMCET 2023 Qualifying Marks 

As per the official website, the TSCHE will determine the qualifying marks for TS EAMCET based on the overall performance of the candidates. The general trend suggests the following data:

  • The minimum qualifying marks for candidates is 25% of the maximum marks considered for ranking purposes.
  • The minimum qualifying marks criteria of 25% do not apply to SC/ST/OBC candidates.

TS EAMCET Important Exam Instructions

Candidates appearing for TS EAMCET 2023 exam are advised to carefully go through the instructions provided on the TSCHE website. Since the exam will be conducted in 2 shifts, candidates must be careful about their shift details, exam centre and reporting times. Some of the important details that candidates must remember are as follows:

  • Candidates must report to their respective exam centres at least 30 minutes before (or earlier).
  • The candidates will get the exam and log-in link on their allotted computer system.
  • The candidates can log in 15 minutes before the start of the exam.
  • The candidates cannot copy questions or answers from the online test.

Important documents and other essentials that the candidates need to carry are:

  • TS EAMCET 2023 admit card
  • Copy of the TS EAMCET 2023 application form
  • Valid identity proof (Voter ID/Aadhaar Card/PAN Card etc.)

In view of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, candidates are required to carry the following items as well:

  • A small sanitiser bottle (50 to 100ml)
  • Face mask
  • Disposable hand gloves
  • Transparent water bottle 

Navigating Through the TS EAMCET Online Exam

Since the TS EAMCET exam 2023 will be conducted in an online-computer-based mode, the candidates need to be familiar with the process of accessing the test and answering questions. There may be many candidates who are not familiar with CBT, and they can refer to the following steps to get an idea about it:

Q1. Is there a TS EAMCET negative marking?
Ans: No, there is no negative marking in TS EAMCET. The questions that have not been answered or answered wrong will not fetch a penalty.

Q2. What are the minimum marks required for qualifying for TS EAMCET?
Ans: TSCHE has set the bar at 25% of the maximum marks considered for the ranking. That means, out of 160, candidates must score 40 to qualify for TS EAMCET 2023.
