Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) conducts UP Board Class 12 examinations every year in the month of March/April. In essence, the UPMSP aims to instil critical thinking, open-mindedness, and flexibility in the way students learn. The Uttar Pradesh Class 12 registration for 2024 will start tentatively in July 2023. The last date to fill out the form without a late fee has not been announced yet. The correction window for Uttar Pradesh Class 12 will tentatively open in September 2023 for making changes or corrections in the mistake. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country, the UPMSP had made some changes in the exam pattern for the upcoming Class 12 board exam 2024. The new changes are as follows:
(i) The time duration of the exams was reduced to 1.5 hours from the usual three hours.
(ii) students had the option to attempt only three questions out of the given 10.

UPMSP released the Class 12 results for 2022-23 on April 25, 2023. The exam results for the 12th board exam contain various information like name, roll no, school name, total marks, marks obtained, percentage, grade, and passing status.
Students can check all these details on the upmsp result page. Please note that the online result on the official website is not the original grade card. Students will get their original mark sheet along with the certificate from their school.
Students who failed in one or two subjects can appear for the Class 12 compartment exams. The Board will provide the notification to register for the compartment exam and other important information in due time. Students must refrain from carrying electronic devices in the examination centre. If a student is found carrying any unauthorised device, they will be suspended from appearing in the exam.
UPMSP releases the toppers list for each year based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the written examination and the practicals. The UP Board Class 12 supplementary exams are held a few weeks after the declaration of board results. Students who are not satisfied with their board exams or the ones who failed to qualify in the board exams by scoring 33% can appear for the supplementary exams. The supplementary exams are held a few weeks before the examination. Therefore, students can apply for the supplementary exams and start preparing for it.
