A total of 253 vacancies have to be filled for Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force(CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police(ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

The Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) consists of seven security forces in India that are governed by the Home Ministry. The candidates who want to appear for the UPSC CAPF exam must meet the required eligibility criteria as prescribed by the UPSC. Only the eligible candidates can go ahead with the application process. Educational Qualification: Aspirants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from Government acclaimed University or Institute.
The UPSC CAPF application form has been released online, and the eligible aspirants can apply at upsconline.nic.in. Candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria and then proceed with the application process. Application correction window facility is not available.
