UPSC CDS Application Form 2022: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has made online application forms for UPSC CDS II since May 18, 2022. Eligible candidates can apply for the exam online from the official website, i.e., upsc.gov.in. The last date to apply online for CDS 2 was June 07, 2022. The CDS 2 application form has two parts: Part-I and Part-II.
Part-I: This part involves the registration process. Candidates have to enter personal details and other information in part 1. Upon successful registration, a registration ID will be generated, which will be required to proceed to part 2 of filling up the CDS application form.
Part-II: In part 2, candidates have to enter their payment details, examination centre, and upload their photograph, signature, photo identity card, and declaration.

2nd Step: Click on ‘ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC’ (refer to the image below).
3rd Step: Candidates will see the examination code ‘CDS 2’. Click on ‘Click Here for Part I’.
4th Step: Read the instructions carefully that are available both in Hindi and English. Next, click on ‘Yes‘ (refer to the image below).

Once the system has generated the registration ID, a new option called ‘Click Here for Part II Registration’ will be activated. Click on the option to continue by entering the registration ID, date of birth, and captcha.
Candidates also have the option to complete the Part-II registration later. Candidates can leave for the time being and complete the application process before the application window closes. However, it is advisable to finish the application earlier to avoid delays due to software issues.

2nd Step: Click on ‘ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC’.
3rd Step: Under the examination code ‘CDS 2’, click on ‘Click Here for Part II’.
4th Step: Enter the registration ID, date of birth, and captcha.
5th Step: Click on ‘Submit’.
6th Step: Select a mode of payment. If offline payment has been opted, then generate an e-challan and make the payment in one of the branches of SBI.
7th Step: Once the application fee has been paid, select the preferences for the exam centre.
8th Step: Upload the photograph, signature, and photo ID proof.
9th Step: Agree to the declaration and submit the application form.
