UPSC CDS Registration Process 2022

The UPSC CDS 2 recruitment process 2022 ended on June 7, 2022. Candidates who have successfully completed the online application process, and meet the eligibility criteria set by the UPSC, can sit for the CDS 2 written test.

  • 7th Step: Upload all required details and documents in the application form and double-check that the details entered are correct and click submit.

UPSC CDS 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality Eligibility

The nationality eligibility criteria for candidates for UPSC CDS 2022 exam are as follows:

  • Candidates must an Indian citizen, or
  • A subject of Nepal, Bhutan, Refugee of Tibet, who migrated to India before 1962, or
  • A person of Indian origin (PIO) who migrated from Sri Lanka, Burma, Pakistan, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, East African countries of Kenya, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia or Vietnam with an intention of permanent settlement in India.

Important Note: Candidates who are not Indian citizens must provide a certificate of eligibility issued by the Indian government with an exception for the Gorkha subjects of Nepal.

Age Limit

Candidates who are willing to appear for the UPSC CDS exam must fulfil the following age limit criteria:

  • Candidates should not be born earlier than July 2, 1999, and later than July 1, 2004, for Indian Military Academy and Indian Naval Academy as of 2022.
  • Candidates should not be born earlier than July 2, 1999, and later than July 1, 2003, for Indian Air Force Academy as of 2022.

UPSC CDS Admit Card 2022

The UPSC CDS 2 admit card 2022 will have all the details about the exam, centre, and candidates. It is important that candidates download the admit card for UPSC CDS 2 exam as soon as it is released. The CDS 2 admit card for the written exam will be issued by the UPSC in August 2022. The steps to download the CDS 2 admit card are as follows:

UPSC CDS Selection Process 2022

The CDS 2 selection process has 2 stages. Candidates have to clear each one of them in order to be selected for the Indian Armed Forces.
