Cochin University of Science and Technology will conduct the CUSAT CAT exam this year. The CUSAT authorities released the application form, and candidates can fill the same from January 27 to February 26, 2023 (March 6, 2023, with a late fee). Candidates have to fill out the application form before the last date to avoid late fee charges. The exam will be held on April 29, 30 and May 1, 2023.
To fill out the CUSAT CAT application form 2023, a candidate must register first on the official website. CUSAT CAT Eligibility Criteria 2023
The Cochin University of Science and Technology offers 11 courses for which candidates must take CUSAT CAT 2023. Before applying for the CUSAT CAT 2023, candidates must check their eligibility and decide whether they can take the test. The broad eligibility criteria for the B.Tech course for CUSAT CAT 2023 are given below:
Candidates must have passed the 10+2 Examination of the state of Kerala or any other equivalent examination
The minimum score in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as an optional subject should be 50%.
How To Fill CUSAT CAT 2023 Application Form?
Candidates can access the application form for CUSAT CAT 2023 from January 27, 2023. The CUSAT CAT starts the registration, filling out the application form, uploading scanned documents, and paying fees. Candidates are advised to keep a copy of the form filled. Read below for the specific process of filling out the CUSAT CAT application form 2023.

Visit the official website of Cochin University of Science and Technology – admissions.cusat.ac.in.
Click on New Candidate Registration.
Submit details asked on the screen.
After submitting details, an activation link will be sent to the email address provided by the candidate.
On clicking the activation link, the user account will get activated.
The user name of the candidate will be their email address.
Passwords must have at least 8 characters and contain at least one Capital Letter, one number and one special character.
Personal Details and Reservation
Read the instructions carefully.
Click on “Start Registration.”
Fill in the precise details required in the CUSAT CAT 2023 application form.
In case of any uncertainty, read the prospectus once again.
If the candidate wishes to maintain any special reservation, they must have selected the left list box and moved to the right box using the ‘select’ button.
For Keralite status-related information, refer appropriate clause of the prospectus.
If candidates belong to NRI status, refer to the appropriate clause.
For information regarding Children of Indian workers in Gulf Countries (CGW), refer to the appropriate clause.
Special reservations need not be available for all courses. The prospectus will specify details of special reservations available for each course.
Photo and Signature
The candidate must upload a recent passport-size photograph with a face visible in portrait orientation.
The maximum size of the photograph accepted is 500kb. The dimensions of the photo should be 150px x 180px.
Upload a scanned image of the signature, in landscape orientation, with a maximum size of 100kb. The dimensions should be 130px x 57px. The image format can be .png, .jpg, .jpeg.
Course Selection
Candidates require to select the program from the drop-down list.
The candidates must select the qualification they are acquiring or have already acquired.
Based on the qualification selected, the list of programmes available at the University will be listed. Candidates should add the course(s) they wish to apply to the right side list box using the select button. Then click the ‘confirm the courses’ button.
After confirming the courses and the test details, the subjects will be displayed. If multiple test options are available, the candidate must select the appropriate one from the options displayed based on the candidate’s qualifications. Then click the “Confirm Tests” button.

After submitting the course details, a short preview will be available.
The candidate should check the details mentioned.
In case of any changes, go to the required page and save the changes.
After verifying the preview, editing will not be allowed in the future.
Payment
After confirming the preview, the candidate needs to proceed with the payment.
Candidates can make payments through credit card/debit card/ net banking.
The CUSAT CAT application fee for the general category is rupees 1100, while for the reserved category, the application fees are Rupees 500.
Centre Selection
After completing the payment process, the list of available exam centres will be displayed on the screen.
The candidate should select their nearest exam centre from the list provided.
After centre selection, a final preview will be displayed, and the candidates can go to their home page and wait for the University to confirm.
It may take at least two working days.
After approval from the University, the candidate can download the confirmation page from the candidate’s home page.
The status of the candidate can be seen on the candidate’s home page.
