June 21, 2023The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education released the Goa Board of SSC Timetable 2023. The Authority conducts the 10th and 12th class examinations each year. The board has planned to conduct the board examinations for 10th-class students this year in November 2022 in affiliated schools of GBSHSE. This year’s Secondary School Certificate examination follows the same pattern as the final examination for the academic year 2022-2023.

The Board’s official circular mentions –
If the candidate is absent for the first term exam for whatever reason, he will be awarded zero marks in the First Term. However, they will be permitted to appear in the Second-Term exam as a one-time measure.
If the student is absent for the second term it will be treated as absent in that subject and the final result will be declared as ‘Needs Improvement’.
The unsuccessful candidates irrespective of the number of subjects with Need Improvement remark shall be allowed to appear in Supplementary Examinations.
The syllabus for the Class 10 supplementary exam will be the whole syllabus.
No marks of the First or Second Term exam will be carried forward to the supplementary exam.
The supplementary exam question paper pattern will be subjective with weightage to the content as per the pattern that existed in March 2020.
The decision of the entire syllabus in the supplementary exam is applicable for all repeater candidates including the unsuccessful candidates of the April 2023 Class 10, 12 exam.
