Candidates who appear for the GCET examination are eligible for GCET counselling based on the merit list. Candidates must fill out an application form to participate in GCET counselling 2023. The admission form can be found on the official website. Candidates must complete the admission form for the course they wish to enrol in.

The GCET admission form must be completed and submitted offline. The counselling authority also publishes the merit list for each course separately. Candidates must attend counselling based on their position on the merit list. The seats will be assigned based on the candidate’s position on the GCET merit list, availability of seats and preferences. – GCET 2023 application form will be released on March 23, 2023. The last date to fill out the application form is April 23, 2023.

GCET Counselling 2023: Important Dates

The DTE, Goa, conducts the counselling. The GCET 2023 application Form-B must be submitted in person at the Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim. Candidates must collect an acknowledgement card as proof of submission of application Form-B after submitting the form. GCET Counselling 2023: Merit List 

The GCET result releases the GCET merit list on the official website. The result displays the candidates’ details, and the scores secured in each section. Candidates will be shortlisted, and a merit list will be prepared on the basis of their performance; these shortlisted candidates will be eligible for GCET counselling.

GCET Admission 2023

Candidates must fill out the application form as per the course of their choice. The form can be filled by the candidates who have appeared in the GCET entrance exam 2023.

GCET Admission Form

The form can be filled out to get admission in GCET based course.

• Form A: The form can be filled out to get admission to B.E/ B.Pharma through GCET.
• Form B: The form can be filled out for NEET 2023-based courses. Admission to BHMS and BAMS will also be provided through the NEET scorecard.
• Form C: The form can be filled out to get admission to B.Arch. through NATA.

1st Step: Filling Out the GCET 2023 Application Form for Counselling

Candidates can follow the given steps to fill out the online GCET 2023 counselling form:

• 1st Step: Visit the GCET official website.
• 2nd Step: Click on the ‘Register’ button.
• 3rd Step: Candidates must register using their email ID and generate a password.
• 4th Step: All the required personal, academic and contact details must be submitted by the candidates.
• 5th Step: Choice of colleges and courses must be selected in the order of preference.
• 6th Step: Candidates must upload self-attested copies of the required documents.

Documents Required for GCET Counselling

The list of documents candidates must attach to the application form:

• Birth certificate
• Aadhaar card
• GCET admit card
• Category certificate (if any)
• Statement of marks/Certificate/provisional certificate
• School/College leaving certificate/Transfer certificate
• Photograph (3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height) in JPEG/PNG format)
• “Income and Assets Certificate” issued by Mamlatdar or Tahsildar (for the EWS seats)
• Income Certificate from Panchayat / Municipality (for fee concession and TFW seats)
• Eligibility Certificate from Goa University (for candidates passing qualifying from Boards other than Goa Board)

2nd Step: Seat Allotment

Candidates are allotted seats per their ranks, availability of seats and preferences. The seat allotment result will be released on the official website. 

3rd Step: Confirmation of Admission

Selected candidates will have to confirm their admission by paying the required fee. The candidature will be cancelled if the admission is not confirmed before the final date.
