GCET Exam Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants interested in applying for GCET 2023 examination are required to be well-informed of the eligibility criteria. A candidate should meet the below criteria to be eligible for GCET 2023:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have cleared their 10+2 examination with a minimum percentage of 45%
Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens. NRI and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) /Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders are also eligible for admission under NRI quota.
Subject Selection: Candidates must have studied English, Physics, and Mathematics. Also, it is mandatory for candidates to select one of the four subjects- Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology.

How Can I Apply for GCET 2023?

The Directorate of Technical Education, Goa, released the GCET application on the official website. Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to fill GCET application form:

1st Step: Visit the DTE official website for GCET 2023- dte.goa.gov.in
2nd Step: Go to the “Register” tab.
3rd Step: Register through a valid email ID and create a password.
4th Step: Verify the email ID by clicking on the verification link sent to the registered email address.
5th Step: Log in to GCET 2023 application account, and follow the instructions to fill out the form.
6th Step: Upload a recent photograph and signature as per the GCET guidelines.
7th Step: Choose the subject options (PCM or PC) as per your course.
8th Step: Click and proceed to pay the GCET application fee.
9th Step: After you have selected the exam centre and paid the application fee, submit the form.
10th Step: Download and print the GCET admit card.

Note: Candidates must submit the application form online at the DTE GCET 2032 website. No hard copy of applications will be accepted via post/courier.

GCET Application Form Submission for Late Applicants

After the application process closes, the authorities will allow late applicants to submit GCET application form 2023. Late applicants could submit their GCET 2023 application forms in person at the CAD section of the Directorate of Technical Education in Porvorim, with an application fee of Rs. 3500/- (including late fees of Rs. 1500/-) remitted at HDFC Bank in Porvorim.
