JEE Main Admit Card 2023: Hall Ticket Direct Link (Released)

NTA authorities released the JEE Main 2023 admit card for session 1 on January 21 and 27, 2023 (both Paper 1&2). Before reaching the exam venue, candidates must download the hall ticket or admit card. Those appearing for JEE Main January session can download the admit card from the direct link which is given here on this webpage. Furthermore, for downloading the admit card, candidates must use their JEE Main login credentials, like the application number and date of birth, along with the security pin.

The JEE Main 2023 admit card was released separately for each session. JEE Main 2023 is being held in two sessions: January and April. JEE Main Admit Card 2023: Released Now

The JEE Main 2023 hall ticket contains specific information such as the candidate’s name, roll number, state of eligibility, photograph, exam centre address, and exam instructions. Steps to Download NTA JEE Main Admit Card 2023

The JEE Main admit card 2023 is available only in online mode. Candidates must log in to the official portal using their credentials for JEE Main hall ticket download 2023.

Candidates will be able to download the hall ticket for JEE Main admit card 2023 by following the below-mentioned steps:

  • 1st Step: Candidates should visit the JEE Main official website. Click on the “JEE(Main) 2023 Session 1 – Download Admit Card” link. The screen will appear like this shown below:

  • 2nd Step: Now, log in to the portal with the credentials such as Application Number, Security PIN, and Date of Birth.
  • 3rd Step: The hall ticket will reflect on the screen.
  • 4th Step: Candidates can download the admit card and take a printout for appearing to the examination hall.

JEE Exam Hall Ticket 2023: Documents To Carry on The Exam Day

Candidates must carry the following documents to the exam centre along with the admit card of JEE Main 2023 on exam day.

  • Printout of JEE Main 2023 hall ticket.
  • Multiple copies of the candidate’s passport-sized photographs. Note that the photograph should be the same as the one uploaded during JEE Main registration.
  • A valid photo ID – Passport/Driving Licence/Aadhar Card/PAN Card/Voter ID bearing the same name mentioned on the JEE Mains admit card 2023.
  • PwD certificate in the prescribed format (if any).
  • One copy of the self-declaration form, part of JEE Main admit card, can be downloaded from the official website.
  • Candidates prone to diabetes can carry sugar tablets, fruits, and water in transparent bottles. Such candidates must provide the prescription as proof that they have diabetes.

Items Not Allowed Inside JEE Main Exam Hall

NTA lists out the list of prohibited items for the candidates each year. These are the items that the candidates should not carry inside the examination hall. If any candidate is found with any of these items, they will not be allowed to take the JEE exam and might also be stopped from appearing for future exams conducted by NTA.

  • Electronic devices like cell phones, pager, and calculator
  • Pieces of paper, books, notebooks, etc.
  • Handbag or purse
  • Pen/pencils (exam authority will provide these items)
  • Pencil boxes, geometry boxes
  • Watch/clocks of any kind will not be allowed as the time will be displayed on the computer during the test.
  • Eatables/snacks and tea/coffee/cold drinks/water (loose or packed)
  • Camera or tape recorder
  • Any metallic item

Discrepancies in JEE Main 2023 Hall Ticket?

Candidates must carefully check all the details mentioned in their JEE admit card 2023. In that case, they should immediately contact the NTA officials to get the information corrected.

JEE Mains 2023 Admit Card: Instructions

Here are some of the JEE Main exam day instructions for 2023:

  • Once the candidates have downloaded their NTA JEE Main admit card 2023, they must check their exam centre/venue.
  • Any request to change the exam centre/venue will not be entertained after the JEE Main hall ticket 2023.
  • It is compulsory to carry the hard copy of the JEE Mains 2023 hall ticket, valid photo ID proof, and a few passport-sized photographs to the exam hall.
  • Make sure that the details mentioned on the JEE Mains admit card 2023 are correct, and in case of a discrepancy, report the same to NTA at the earliest.
  • The photo and other details on the JEE admit card printout and the ID card must be clear and legible.
  • Candidates who appear for the exam in the first shift (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM) must reach the exam centre between 7:30 and 8:30 AM. For the second shift (3:00 PM to 6:00 PM for Paper 1 and 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM for Paper 2), they must reach the exam centre between 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM.
  • Candidates will be permitted to enter the exam hall between 8:30 AM and 8:50 AM for the first shift and between 2:30 PM and 2:50 PM for the second shift.
  • No candidates will be allowed to enter the exam hall after the commencement of the exam.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam hall until the exam is over.
  • The JEE admit card is also necessary for the JEE Main counselling process. Candidates must keep it safe until the end of admission.

JEE Main 2023: Special Assistance to Diabetic Candidates

Eatables and drinks, including water bottles, are not allowed at the test centre. However, certain concessions are there for diabetic candidates to keep their health conditions in mind. Candidates can carry the following things.

  • Sugar tablets
  • Transparent water bottle
  • Fruits (Like bananas/oranges/apples)

Note: Candidates will not be allowed to carry packed food items like chocolate/candy/sandwiches.
