How To Retrieve Forgotten Application Number?

Candidates must enter their Application Number and Password or Date of Birth (DOB) to download JEE Mains 2022 hall ticket. In case the candidates have forgotten their Application Number or Password, they can retrieve or reset their JEE Main 2022 admit card through one of the following ways.

Method 1 – By Checking Mail or SMS

  • Open their mailbox and check for the email sent by JAB-NTA during the JEE Main online registration, which contains the Application Number.
  • They can also check the SMS sent to the registered mobile number.
  • They can also go through the filled application form to check for the Application Number.

Method 2 – Recovering Application Number and Resetting Password from Official Website

Candidates can follow the process as under to retrieve their JEE Main Application Number and Password.

  • Visit the official website and open the JEE Main 2022 login page.
  • On the login page, there are two options.
    Forgot the Application Number?
    Forgot Password?
  • Select any one option to proceed.

Method 3 – Forgot the Application Number?

  • Candidates can see a new page once they click on the ‘Forgot Application Form’ option. Now enter the following details.
    – Name of the Candidate
    – Date of Birth of the Candidate
    – Candidate’s Father’s Name
    – Candidate’s Mother’s Name
    – Security Pin (Case Sensitive)
  • Click on the button, “Get Application Number.”
  • The Application Number will appear. Please keep it safe for future reference.

Method 4 – Forgot Password?

  • Once candidates click on the option ‘Forgot Password,’ they will have three options to reset the password.
    Use the security question and its selected answer during the form filling.
    Using the verification code sent via text message (SMS) to the registered mobile number of the candidates.
    By using the reset link sent via email to the registered email address. Select any one option to begin.
  • Candidates will see another page where they must enter the details such as Application Number, Date of Birth, Security Question and Answer, etc.
  • They should enter the required details and click on theSubmit’ button, and as per the selected method, they will be able to reset their password.

JEE Mains 2022 Admit Card: Instructions

Here are some general instructions for candidates regarding their JEE Mains 2022 hall ticket.

  • Once the candidates have downloaded their NTA JEE Main admit card 2022, they must check their exam centre/venue.
  • Any request to change the exam centre/ venue will not be entertained after the JEE Main hall ticket 2022.
  • It is compulsory to carry the hardcopy of the JEE Mains 2022 hall ticket, valid photo ID proof, and a few passport-sized photographs to the exam hall.
  • Make sure that the details mentioned on the JEE Mains admit card 2022 are correct, and in case of a discrepancy, report the same to NTA at the earliest.
  • The photo and other details on the JEE admit card printout and the ID card must be clear and legible.
  • If candidates appear for the exam in the first shift (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM), they must reach the exam centre between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM. For the second shift (3:00 PM to 6:00 PM for Paper 1 and 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM for Paper 2), they must reach the exam centre between 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
  • Candidates will be permitted to enter the exam hall between 8:30 AM to 8:50 AM for the first shift and between 2:30 PM to 2:50 PM for the second shift.
  • No candidates will be allowed to enter the exam hall after the commencement of the exam.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam hall until the exam is over.
  • The JEE admit card is also necessary for the JEE Main counselling process. Candidates must keep it safe until the end of admission.

Special Assistance to Diabetic Candidates

Eatables and drinks, including water bottles, are not allowed at the test centre. However, certain concessions are there for diabetic candidates keeping their health conditions in mind. Candidates can carry the following things.

  • Fruits (Like Banana/Orange/Apple)
