JEE Main Paper 2 Result 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JEE Main 2023 Session 2 exam on  April 6, 8, 10, 11, and 12, 2023. The JEE Main 2023 Session 1 exam has concluded, as it was held on January 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31, and February 1, 2023. NTA conducted the JEE Main 2023 Session 1 Paper 2 exam on January 28, 2023 (second shift only). The exam results for this session were declared on February 28, 2023. JEE Main Paper 2 Result 2023 (B.Arch and B.Plan): Dates

JEE Main 2023 result for Paper 2 will feature the NTA score for each subject and the total marks scored by the candidate. If a candidate has attended multiple sessions of the JEE Main exam, the Paper 2 results will include the score from both attempts. However, the best score among both sessions will be considered for the admission and counselling process. The final JEE Main result will contain a percentile score, and it will be in the form of the normalised score.

JEE Paper 2 result 2023 will be announced on the NTA’s official website after the exam. Candidates can check the JEE Main result 2023 by entering their application number, date of birth, and security pin (as displayed on the screen) and downloading their JEE Main results. • 1st Step: Visit the Official website – jeemain.nta.ac.in.
• 2nd Step: Now click on the link – ‘JEE (Main) 2023 Session 1 Paper 2 Result‘ or click the direct link here.
• 3rd Step: A new window opens. Enter your application number and date of birth. Enter the captcha code or security code and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
• 4th Step: JEE Main Paper 2 scorecard will appear on the screen. Download the file as a PDF and take a few printouts for future reference.

The JEE Main Paper 2 scorecard will have the percentile score, the qualifying status, and the All India Ranks (AIR). Along with these details, some student-specific information will also be mentioned on the JEE Main result/scorecard. Candidates must note that they need to go through the JEE Main result and verify their details. In case of any discrepancies, candidates must report them to the officials as soon as possible.

For candidates, who are going to appear for two sessions of Paper-II, the JEE Main result 2023 will carry the normalised NTA score for all the attempts along with the All India Ranks. The NTA scorecard will contain the NTA percentile scores and the subject-wise NTA scores of both attempts with the All India Rank for each candidate.

JEE Main Paper 2 Result Tie-breaker Criteria

The authorities will consider the following criteria for JEE Main Paper 2 tie-breaker:

• Candidates with higher marks on the Aptitude Test will be ranked higher.
• If a tie still exists, the candidate with higher marks in the Drawing test will be ranked higher.
• If the tie still persists, candidates older in age will get preference with a higher rank.
• Candidates will be given the same rank if the tie is still unresolved.

If two or more candidates have equal NTA scores in paper 2, the authorities have given a specific method for resolving the tie, as outlined below, to follow.

Tie-breaking Criteria for B.Planning

The criteria are as follows:

• NTA score in Mathematics
• NTA score in Aptitude Test

What Is Percentile in JEE Main Paper 2 Result?

Percentile refers to the rank of a candidate relative to other candidates. Percentile means the percentage of students who have scored equal to or less than (the raw scores) of a particular percentile. It means that the topper of each session will have a percentile score of 100.

JEE Main Paper 2 Normalisation Process

JEE Main exam is conducted for several days and across multiple shifts. Accordingly, there is a possibility of variation in the difficulty level of the papers across sessions. The normalisation process is followed to convert the raw scores of the candidates into percentile scores.

JEE Main Rank List for Paper 2

JEE Main examination for both attempts will commence in multiple sessions, i.e., 4-5 days in the morning and evening shifts. The National Testing Agency normalises candidates’ scores in JEE Main paper 2. The normalised scores will be considered, and officials will prepare the rank list.

JEE Main Paper 2 Counselling

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct the online JEE Main counselling and seat allocation. The authorities perform two practice rounds before proceeding to the final seven rounds of counselling. Candidates who clear JEE Main paper 2 and whose names appear on the rank list will be eligible for counselling process. In counselling, candidates will fill out a choice form to pick their desired courses and institutes.
