JEE Main Slot Booking 2023

The JEE Main Session 2 exam is scheduled to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on April 6, 8, 10, 11, and 12, 2023. Candidates were given until March 12, 2023, to register for Session 2. In the latest notification, the NTA has eliminated the JEE Main slot booking process, which previously allowed candidates to choose their exam centres and shifts. Instead, the authorities will randomly allot exam centres and shifts to candidates based on their exam city preference selected while filling out the JEE Main application form 2023.

The NTA will conduct the exam in two shifts: morning (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM) and evening (3:00 PM to 6:00 PM), and the detailed information regarding the allotted seat will be mentioned on the admit card of JEE Main 2023. What is Slot Booking?

Slot booking is an online method in which candidates choose their chosen day and time to take the examination from a list of available slots. However, this year, candidates will not be able to select the preferred exam timings by picking their desired option via slot booking for JEE Main 2023. Instead, candidates will be alloted the exam centre as per the their city preference while filling out their application. The authorities will release the final details of the designated exam centre for candidates in their admit card.
