JEE Main 2021 Online Paper Wrong Question: Check Questions

Earlier this month in JEE Main offline exam, there were 4 questions that were reported to be incorrect.
Check the 4 incorrect questions here for JEE Main (3rd April, 2016)
Concerned about this situation and seeing the growing confusion among students, we took an initiative to file a petition against the board to bring in a framework to avoid such negligence.
We hoped that such negligence wouldn’t reoccur; but CBSE has been consistent in goofing up in the question paper. We found a mistake in 10th April, 2016 online paper as well. Although there was only one question that was incorrectly framed and looked incomplete we still find it worrisome.
The question under consideration is:
The mean of 5 observations is 5 and their variance is 124. If three of the observations are 1, 2 and 6; then the mean deviation from the mean of the data is :
a. 2.5
b. 2.6
c. 2.8
d. 2.4
We are not in a position to solve the question since the information given is not sufficient and makes no sense whatsoever.
We can’t do much about it, we have to wait for the CBSE board to come up with a quick and justifiable decision about the bonus marks.
