|(22 June 2020): Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant had tweeted that all state entrance examinations for various courses under the Department of Higher Education and Technical Education have been postponed due to the rising cases of COVID-19 across the country and the state.|

What’s New In MHT CET 2020
Check out the following points:
- 20% weightage in the examination will be given to the 11th standard syllabus while the remaining 80% weightage will be given to the 12th standard syllabus.
- The difficulty level of Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test 2020 will be raised and be almost equal to JEE Main for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and to NEET for Biology.
- The approximate number of questions based on the 11th standard will be 10 and the 12th standard will be 40. The questions will be application-based.

MHT CET Eligibility Criteria
Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test 2020 eligibility criteria are different for candidates belonging to different categories as well as for candidates from home state and from states outside Maharashtra. Eligibility criteria include eligibility conditions related to age, qualifying examination, marks scored in the qualifying exam, number of attempts, etc.
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2020 Eligibility Criteria For Engineering
- Candidate must be an Indian national.
- The student must have passed the 12th exam from a recognized board/university.
- General category candidates must have scored minimum 50% aggregate marks in Class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognized board/University with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, while reserve category (SC/ST/OBC) candidates need to have scored 45% and above in Class 12.
- The student must secure qualifying marks in JEE Main Paper 1.
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2020 Eligibility Criteria For Pharmacy
- Candidate must be an Indian national.
- General category candidates must have scored minimum 45% aggregate marks in Class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognized board/University with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, while reserve category (SC/ST/OBC) candidates need to have scored 40% and above in Class 12.
- No age limit is applicable.
MHCET 2020 Exam Centres
As per the latest Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Notification, State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will conduct MHTCET 2020 at various exam centers in cities and towns of Maharashtra. The number of test centers of MHTCET 2020 may go up or down as per the exam conducting authority’s decision.

MHCET Admit Card 2020
The admit card of Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2020 will be released shortly in online mode.
