About Exam

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune, is a self-governing body created under Maharashtra Act No. 41 of 1965. The MSBSHSE administers the HSC and SSC examinations in Maharashtra through its nine Divisional Boards in Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Nagpur, and Ratnagiri. The Board holds examinations twice a year, with roughly 14 lakh students taking the HSC and 17 lakh taking the SSC, and around 6 lakh students taking the HSC and SSC combined supplementary test. 

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) oversees the state’s educational system and designs curricula. This covers both changing the syllabus and publishing exam results. More than 1.7 million students apply for the SSC exam each year. However, on November 18, 2021, the Maharashtra Board issued the application form for the years 2021-22. Candidates should take careful note of the dates and complete all procedures on time to avoid any last-minute stress.

About Exam

Application Form Filling - Start & End Date

Students who are willing to appear in the Maharashtra SSC examination must submit a Maharashtra SSC/10th registration form. It should be noted that the application forms must be received by the appropriate authorities on or before the deadline specified by the board officials. The Maharashtra Board of Secondary Education will soon announce the application form filling dates for the SSC exam 2022. The application forms were announced on the board’s official website on November 18, 2021. Any applicant who submits the registration form after the deadline must pay a late registration fee in addition to the application fee.

According to the latest updates, online registration for Class 10 private candidates is completed. To take the exam, private candidates had to fill out form number 17. Registrations began on November 18, and the deadline to register was till December 9, 2021. To complete the registration process, candidates must pay Rs 1100/- (registration and processing fee). In addition, candidates can visit http://form17.mh-hsc.ac.in/ to pay their fees online.

Candidates must submit their SSC application forms by the deadline specified by the board. It is essential to have all of the following documents/information ready before beginning the application form process.
