The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune, is a self-governing body created under Maharashtra Act No. 41 of 1965. The MSBSHSE administers the HSC and SSC examinations in Maharashtra through its nine Divisional Boards in Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Nagpur, and Ratnagiri.
