SBI Clerk Prelims Result 2022: The State Bank of India (SBI) conducts the SBI Clerk Exam to recruit candidates for the post of Junior Associates in its different branches across the country. SBI Clerk Prelims Results

According to the official SBI notification, “no minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects are prescribed.” As a result, there will be no sectional cut off for the SBI Junior Associates Recruitment Online Examination this year. The result of prelims is prepared out of 100 marks after applying a penalty for wrong answers. However, the marks obtained in the prelims are not counted for the final merit list.

  • The candidates will be released from the waitlist on a quarterly basis against non-joining candidates.

Tie-Breaking Policy in SBI Clerk Result 2022

Since the SBI Clerk Examination is held at the national level, the number of candidates taking up the exam is very high. This can also lead to multiple candidates obtaining the same score. In such circumstances, to award the appropriate ranking, the tie will be broken in the following manner: 

  • Candidates who belong to the reserved category like SC or ST or PH will be considered.
  • If the tie persists, then a candidate with fewer incorrect answers shall be given a chance.
  • If the tie still persists, then the candidates of older age will be considered.

The selection process for SBI Clerk Prelims is mentioned below:

  • SBI Clerk Prelims Exam is an online objective test of 100 marks and candidates need to complete the exam within 60 minutes. 
  • In the SBI Clerk Prelims Exam, there is a sectional time limit of 20 minutes. Candidates have to answer the questions of English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability.
  • There is no sectional cutoff in the SBI Clerk Prelims Exam.
