SRMJEEE Dress Code: SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) is held twice a year by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) for admission to the institute’s BTech programmes. SRMJEEE is a university-level test that serves as a common entrance exam for all SRM Group institutes and universities in Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, NCR – Ghaziabad, Ramapuram Part – Vadapalani, Amravati, Haryana, and Sikkim.Candidates who are scheduled to take the exam should be aware of following guidelines about dress code and forbidden items at the exam centre.
SRMIST has begun phase 3 slot booking for SRMJEEE 2022. Candidates can reserve time slots through June 23, 11:30 p.m. Candidates will be granted an admit card following slot booking. The SRMJEEE phase 3 online proctored exam will be held on June 25, 26, and 27. A mock test will also be held from June 21 to 23. SRMJEEE 2022 phase 3 test instructions will be issued on June 24. Candidates can download the SRMJEEE 2022 admit card from the official website – https://applications.srmist.edu.in/btech. More information about the course can be found on the official website srmist.edu.in.
Before the start of the exam candidates must charge their laptop/desktop device that should have a webcam. Further, the candidates are advised to be seated against a plain, white background only.
Because the examination is being conducted in the online mode, right before the start of the test, the webcam will be activated automatically. There will be an invigilator who will monitor every action of the candidate using an AI engine and webcam. Please note “If your camera is not working, you will not be able to start the examination,” reads the instruction manual.
The duration of the main exam is 150 minutes and all the candidates are required to log in an hour prior to the test to complete some formalities and read test instructions. As per the media reports, the candidates must remember that once the test has started, the candidate will not be allowed to quit the test.
Candidates must remember that a question will appear on the screen and the candidate has to answer it or skip the same. However, after moving on to the next question, they will not be able to go back to the previous one.
There will be a quit password given in the instruction manual that has to be entered after completing the test.
SRMJEEE will be administered online. As a result, candidates do not need to bring any stationery to the exam centre. They can, however, bring a ballpoint pen with them for rough work.
Aspirants taking the SRMJEEE 2022 must bring their individual admit cards to the exam centre. Along with the SRMJEEE admit card, applicants must bring one valid photo identity card issued by the state/central government. The following documents are permitted to be carried:

Candidates interested in taking the exam must meet the SRMJEEE 2022 eligibility requirements. The eligibility criteria for SRMJEEE 2022 are the requirements that every candidate must meet in order to take the entrance exam. Before submitting an application for the entrance exam, candidates should ensure that they meet the qualifying requirements.
Aspirants must be a Resident Indian, Non-Resident Indian (NRI), or bearer of a PIO or OCI card issued by the Government of India. NRIs and PIO or OCI card holders who have not taken the SRMJEEE (UG) must apply under the International student category alone.
The candidate must be 17 years old as of December 31 of the admission year.
Faculty of Engineering and Technology:
(i)Passed or sitting in Higher Secondary examination (10+2 pattern) in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as major subjects in the regular stream from any state board in India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.
(ii)International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or A-level in any International school in India with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as major topics.
Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology, Bachelor of Technology in Biomedical Engineering, and Bachelor of Technology in Genetic Engineering:
Minimum 60% aggregate in PCM/PCB for Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, and Vadapalani campuses.
For the NCR, Delhi campus, a minimum of 55% in PCM / PCB is required.
Passed or sitting in Higher Secondary examination (10+2 pattern) in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, or Biotechnology as major subjects in regular stream from any state board in India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.
Note: Only candidates who have completed the above qualifying examination in no more than two attempts, including a retake, will be considered for admission.
