As per the official notification, the SSC will conduct the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam between February and March 2023. Candidates were able to pay the online application fee till January 5, 2023, and through challan till January 6, 2023. SSC has already published SSC CHSL Registration Dates along with its SSC Calendar on its official website, ssc.nic.in. Along with the release of the SSC CHSL notification, the online application procedure for the SSC CHSL exam began on December 6, 2022. The deadline for applying online for the SSC CHSL exam was January 4, 2023.

SSC CHSL exam will be conducted to hire candidates for the posts of Postal Assistants (PA) / Sorting Assistants (SA), Court Clerks, Lower Division Clerks (LDC), and Data Entry Operators (DEO).

Pre-requisites for SSC CHSL Online Form 2022

Candidates must be ready with the following before applying for the exam.

  1. A Valid Mobile Number
  2. Valid Email ID
  3. Scanned Copy of Recent Photograph
  4. Scanned Copy of Signature
  5. Class 10 Marksheet (to fill the application form)
  6. Aadhaar Number/ Voter ID Card/ PAN/ Passport/ Driving License or School/ College/ Employer ID (to fill the application form)

Note: The photo uploaded must not be more than three months old, and the date on which the photograph was taken should be clearly printed on the photograph.

How to Fill SSC CHSL Application Form 2022?

The SSC CHSL application form has to be filled out and submitted through online mode. Follow the steps provided below to apply for SSC CHSL exam:

  • 1st Step: Visit the SSC official website ssc.nic.in.
  • 2nd Step: On the right side of the screen, there’s a “Login” window. Click on New User? Register Now” to register for the exam.
  • 3rd Step: Candidates will be redirected to a new page, where they need to provide details like basic details, contact details and upload the photo and signature as prompted. (Refer to the image below).
  • 4th Step: Candidates must check the details entered and make corrections if necessary and then click on “Submit” to submit the registration form.
  • 5th Step: Upon submitting the SSC CHSL application form, a registration ID and password will be generated. Note them down as aspirants will need them in the future, be it for downloading the SSC CHSL admit card or checking the SSC CHSL result.
  • 6th Step: Once all the fields are filled, candidates must pay the SSC CHSL application form fee.
  • 7th Step: SSC CHSL registration will be complete only after successfully paying the application form fee. After that, candidates must take a printout of the SSC CHSL application form for future reference.

SSC CHSL application form fees can be paid using BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.

SSC CHSL Application Form Correction Fees

The commission will charge a consistent SSC CHSL application form correction fee of Rs. 200 for the first corrected/modified CHSL application and Rs. 500 for the second correction and modification / re-submission of the SSC CHSL registration form. The correction fee applies to all candidates, regardless of gender or category.
