SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2023: The Staff Selection Commission has changed the SSC CHSL 2023 exam pattern. According to the revised exam pattern, SSC CHSL contains two tiers, i.e., Tier 1 and Tier 2. The SSC releases the exam pattern for the SSC CHSL exam in their official notification. The SSC recently announced that the exam pattern for the CHSL will be changed. The revised Tier 1 and 2 exam pattern is given in this article below. Check the SSC CHSL paper pattern overview in the table below:

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2023 for Tier 1

The SSC CHSL Tier-I is the objective type paper, where Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) will be asked. It has four sections with a total of 100 questions. Check the SSC CHSL Tier 1 marking scheme and exam pattern in the table below:

Important Points:

  • The total duration for the Tier 1 exam is 60 minutes.
  • For every right answer, candidates will get 2 marks.
  • There is a negative marking of 0.50 for every wrong attempt
  • There will be no negative marking for unattempted questions
  • Except for the English Language section, the exam will be conducted in English, Hindi, and 13 other regional languages. These 13 regional languages are Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Odia, Urdu, Punjabi, Manipuri (also Meiti), and Konkani.
