WBJEE Merit List 2023: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will shortly declare the WBJEE 2023 official merit list at wbjeeb.nic.in. Previously, the authority announced WBJEE 2023 exam result on May 26, 2023. Aspirants who appeared for the WBJEE entrance test on April 30, 2023, were asked to check their result status from the official website. Candidates are requested to get their WBJEE 2023 merit list from the website as a PDF once announced officially.

WBJEEB prepares the WBJEE 2023 merit list based on the overall acquired by aspirants in WBJEE paper-I and II of the entrance test. If two or more aspirants score similar ranks, the board will execute a tie-breaker round to break the tie to shortlist candidates for counselling rounds. A category-wise merit list will also be available for candidates, and based on that WBJEE merit list, eligible candidates will get admission to the engineering courses. (2) More positive marks in physics and mathematics collectively

(3) More right answers in mathematics and chemistry, all together

(4) Less incorrect answers in physics and mathematics, together

(5) Less incorrect answers in chemistry and mathematics, together

(6) More correct answers in mathematics for only 2 mark questions

(7) More correct answers in physics for only 2 mark questions

(8) More correct answers in chemistry for only 2 mark questions

(9) Less negative marks in mathematics for only 2 marks questions

(10) Less negative marks in physics for only 2 marks questions

(11) In case the tie persists, the date of birth of the candidates will be considered. The older aspirant will be given preference over the younger one.

WBJEE 2023 Reservation Criteria

The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PWD will be given reservations based on the category of participating institutes. The candidates will get admission under this category only with the domicile certificate of West Bengal. The merit list will include the separate reserved category merit position for the respective category of aspirants.

Post the release of the merit list, authorities will conduct the WBJEE counselling and seat allotment for admission to the engineering program of the university.
