Points To Note About WBJEE 2023 Results

- The WBJEEB will release the results for WBJEE 2023 on the official website.

Tie-breaking Criteria of WBJEE 2023
If two or more candidates have obtained the same marks, the authorities will allot ranks to the candidates by following a tie-breaking method. The tie-breaking criteria are given below in order of preference in which it will be followed:
- The candidate who has scored lesser negative marks and more positive marks, collectively in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, will get a higher rank.
- Furthermore, candidates with more positive marks in Mathematics and Chemistry counted together will be allotted a higher rank.
- If the tie remains, candidates with fewer negative marks collectively in Mathematics and Physics will get a higher rank.
- Next, the collective marks scored by candidates with less negative marks in Mathematics and Chemistry will be given preference.
- Candidates scoring more positively on the 2 marks questions Mathematics will get a higher rank.
- Candidates who score more positive marks on the 2 marks questions Physics will get a higher rank.
- Candidates who score more positive on the 2 marks questions of Chemistry will get a higher rank.
- Candidates who get fewer negative marks for the 2 marks questions of Mathematics get a higher rank.
- Candidates who get fewer negative marks for the 2 marks questions in Physics get a higher rank.
- Candidates who get fewer negative marks for the 2 marks questions of Chemistry get a higher rank.
- The older candidate will be awarded a higher rank if the tie persists despite all these parameters.

WBJEE Counselling Process 2023
To attend the WBJEE counselling process, candidates must clear the WBJEE 2023 cut-off, as determined by the WBJEE Board. The counselling fee is waived for WBJEE 2023 rank holders.
