Indan Navy SSR Result 2021: Indian Navy conducts Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) selection every year. After the selection process, the results for Online Written Exam for Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) will be released. Test takers can download the Indian Navy SSR Result PDF from the official website i.e. joinindiannavy.gov.in.

The frequency of the selection process in the Indian Navy for the posts of SSR is twice a year. The first cycle will be in the month of August and the second cycle will be in the month of February. This year the examination was held in the month of February 2021 and the results will be declared by July 2021. How To Check Indian Navy SSR Result?

  1. Go to the official website of the Indian Navy: joinindiannavy.gov.in.
  2. Click on the “Login” button from the top right side of the screen.
  3. Enter your Email ID and Password and click on the “Log In” button.
  4. Enter your registration number.
  5. Press “Submit” and the Indian Navy SSR Result PDF will appear.
  6. In order to check your name, type Ctrl+F and enter your name.

If the name is present in the list, then you have passed the online examination and are eligible to appear for the PFT and Preliminary Recruitment Medical Examination.

What After Indian Navy SSR Result?

After the announcement of the Indian Navy SSR Result, candidates need to appear for the Physical Fitness Test (PFT). Only those candidates who qualify in PFT will undergo the Preliminary Recruitment Medical Examination. Approximately 8000 candidates will be called.

Allocation of centres for PFT and Preliminary Recruitment Medical Examination will be at the discretion of the Indian Navy. The qualifying cut-off marks for appearing in PFT & Preliminary Recruitment Medical may vary from State to State for SSR entry.

Documents Required For PFT and Medical: Note that the candidates are required to bring some documents like original certificates, mark sheets, Domicile certificate, and NCC certificate.

Indian Navy SSR: PFT and Medical Criteria

Here are the requirements that candidates need to meet in order to pass PFT and Medical round.

Physical Fitness Test:

The candidate will be performing the following tasks:

  1. 1.6 Km run that has to be completed in 7 minutes
  2. 20 squat ups
  3. 10 push-ups

Preliminary Medical Examination:

Candidates are required to clear PFT in order to get eligible for appearing in the Preliminary Medical Examination. The exam will be conducted by authorized military doctors by taking care of medical standard which we have mentioned below:

  1. Minimum height = 157 cms.
  2. Weight and Chest should be proportionate.
  3. Minimum chest expansion of 5 cms.

Indian Navy SSR Result: Final Enrollment Medical

After the PFT and Preliminary Medical examination, the candidates will be called for the Final Enrollment Medical on the basis of the merit list prepared by the board. Candidates will be called to INS Chilka and they have to report according to the date and time allotted for their batch.

A candidate must be in good physical and mental health, free from any defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties both ashore and afloat under peace as well as war conditions as per Navy Order. Candidates are advised to get their ears cleaned for wax, and tartar removed from teeth prior to the medical examination.

Documents To Be Produced: After the Final Medical examination, candidates are required to submit the Police Verification form and other associated forms along with the Call Letter for the Final Enrolment Medical Examination at INS Chilka.
