NDA Salary During Training Period: The candidate under training will receive a fixed stipend of Rs.56100/- under the NDA training period salary. Note that the period of training shall not be treated as a commissioned service, and the allowances during the training period will be paid as arrears on successful commissioning.
NDA Salary After Training: Once the candidate has been commissioned as an officer (Lieutenant), the pay scale will be Rs.56,100/- to 1,77,500/- as basic pay, including the allowances and other benefits.

NDA Monetary Benefits in Case of Accidents
These benefits are applicable under the NDA training period salary if candidates face any unfortunate accidents during the training period. The consequences are divided into two parts- compensation in the case of disability and compensation in the case of death. The seriousness of the consequences will directly impact the compensation amount.
A. Compensations in Case of Disability
A monthly Ex-Gratia amount of Rs.9,000/- per month will be paid.
In the case of 100% Disability, the Ex-Gratia amount of INR 16,200/- per month shall be paid to the candidate.
In case of a disability percentage of 20% or lesser, no amount will be paid.
A constant attendance allowance of Rs.6750/- per month will be paid to the candidate if the Invaliding Medical Board (IMB) recommends it.
B. Compensations in Case of Death
Ex-Gratia amount of INR 12.50 Lacs will be paid to the NoK.
Ex-Gratia amount of INR 9,000/- per month will be paid to the NoK.

NDA Officer Salary 2023: Insurance and Other Benefits

The Army Group Insurance Fund provides insurance cover of Rs.15 lakhs on payment of a one-time non-refundable premium of Rs.7,200/- by cadets for 3 years (from the date of joining for pre-commission training)
In case of relegation, an additional premium of Rs.1,355/- per relegated term will be paid.
Candidates who are invalidated by IMB on account of disability will be provided Rs.15 lakhs for 100% disability. Whereas, for 20% disability, Rs.3 lakhs will be paid. Moreover, for less than 20% disability only an Ex-Gratia grant of Rs. 50,000/- for the first two years of training and Rs.1 lakh during the third year of training will be paid.
The Gentlemen Cadets at IMA when in receipt of stipend are insured for Rs.75 lakh with a monthly contribution of Rs.5,000 as applicable to officers of regular Army.
The candidates invalidated by IMB account of disability and not entitled to any pension will be provided Rs.25 lakhs for 100% disability and Rs.5 lakhs for 20% disability. For less than 20% disability an Ex-Gratia grant of Rs.50,000/- will be paid.
