August 11, 2023NDA Notification 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) issued the NDA 1 notification 2023 on December 21, 2022. Now, the online application submission for NDA II has started on May 17, 2023, and will continue until June 6, 2023. Candidates will be allowed to apply online for UPSC NDA II 2023 on the official website, i.e., upsc.gov.in. The NDA 1 exam was conducted on April 16, 2023, and NDA 2 will be conducted on September 3, 2023.

Earlier, UPSC released the UPSC NDA 1 2023 notification PDF on December 21, 2022, at upsc.gov.in, declaring 395 vacant positions for boys and girls to be hired for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy for the year 2023. This exam is held twice a year for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA and Indian Naval Academy Courses (INAC).

The NDA salary is INR 56,100 for the entire duration of training in service academies. Following successful training, the Officer Commissioned’s salary will be fixed in the first Cell of Level 10.

There are two stages in the NDA selection process, i.e. written test and SSB interview. Candidates must clear the written examination to move to the second stage, i.e. SSB interview. After the SSB interview, document verification and medical examination will be conducted. Candidates will be asked to report for the medical examination based on the final merit list.
After selection, candidates must undergo training and, upon successful completion of training, will serve as an Indian Army/ Navy/ Air Force Officer.
The NDA 1 Exam 2023 will have only objective-type questions. The questions will be asked in English as well as Hindi. Check the detailed pattern from the below table:

The NDA Exam has negative markings. One-third of the marks allotted to a question will be reduced on every wrong attempt.

Candidates appearing for the NDA 1 2023 exam must prepare for Mathematics, General Knowledge and English Subjects.
The SSB Interview comprises various psychological and intelligence tests, which will be conducted for 5 days. Candidates who pass the written exam must participate in a two-stage interview process administered by officials. Those who advance to the interview round must provide birth and pass certificates.
The NDA 1 admit card 2023 has been released on March 24, 2023, while NDA II admit card is yet to be issued. The candidates can download the hall ticket from the official website of UPSC. The hall ticket can be downloaded by logging in with the roll number or registration number. The candidates will not get any hard copy of their hall ticket via post.
The written and final results are released online in two stages. A merit list for both stages has been released on the day of the NDA result. The results have been made available on the official website of the UPSC. It will comprise both the roll number and the names of the selected candidates. Candidates whose names will be present in the NDA Result PDF are required to appear for the SSB Interview.
The NDA cut-off is the minimum qualifying mark applicants must achieve to pass the exam and advance to the next selection round. Following the completion of the hiring procedure, the cut-off marks for the written exam and SSB interview will be released separately. Candidates have to score at least 25% marks in each subject.
