JEE Advanced AAT 2022: Results Release Date (Sept 17)


JEE Advanced AAT 2022: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay conducted the JEE Advanced Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2022 on August 28, 2022. Online registration for JEE AAT Advanced 2022 commenced on September 11, 2022, and ended on September 12, 2022. JEE AAT exam was conducted on September 14, 2022, and the results will be declared on September 17, 2022.

JEE Advanced AAT was held for those candidates who wish to take admission in the B. Arch. Only IIT Kharagpur, IIT (BHU) Varanasi, and IIT Roorkee offer this course. AAT JEE Advanced Application Form

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay released the application form for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) of JEE Advanced. The application form was released via online mode on the official website – jeeadv.ac.in. Only eligible candidates were able to fill in the application form. To fill in the online form for AAT JEE Advanced 2022, candidates followed these steps: 

  • Visit the official website, i.e. jeeadv.ac.in.
  • On the homepage, go to the application form link and click on it. 
  • A new login window will appear on the screen.
  • Now, candidates will have to enter their JEE Advanced AAT registration number, date of birth, mobile number and email address. 
  • Select the preferred option from yes or no which is to be selected for the question – Are you interested in AAT 2022?
  • Also, the list of exam centres will be displayed on the screen.
  • Candidates will have to select their preference of exam centre.
  • Enter all of the required details.
  • After going through the provided details, the candidates must submit the application form. 

After successful submission, candidates must also take a printout for future reference. 

AAT JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria 

The exam conducting body decides the eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced AAT along with the notification. It is important for the candidates to check the eligibility criteria to avoid rejection at any later stage. The eligibility criteria was the same as JEE advanced. Check below for more details: 

  • In order to appear for JEE Advanced Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT), candidates must qualify for JEE Advanced 2022.
  • Also, candidates must have appeared in the Class 12th examination for the first time in 2021 or 2022, not any earlier than that. Also must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects.
  • According to a recent ruling from the Supreme Court of India, there is no age limit for candidates appearing for JEE Advanced 2022 until any further notice. 

AAT JEE Advanced Admit Card 2022

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay have not released a separate JEE Advanced AAT 2022 admit card for the candidates. Candidates carried the same admit card as they carried during JEE Advanced exam. To download the admit card, candidates used the required credentials in the login window. JEE Advanced AAT 2022 hall ticket mentioned the details about the exam venue, date and time of the exam, test centre’s address, and other information like the name of the candidate, application number and photograph, and signature.

Along with the admit card, candidates are also required to carry any of the following identity cards to the venue of examination – Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID Card, Driving License and PAN Card. Without carrying the admit card, candidates were not allowed to enter the exam centre.

AAT JEE Advanced Exam Centres

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay released the JEE Advanced AAT exam centres and the notification on its official website. While filling out the application form, the candidates also have to select the exam centre of AAT 2022 according to their preference. JEE Advanced AAT Syllabus 2022

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay prescribes the syllabus for the entrance exam on the official website. The syllabus includes topics from where the questions were asked in the entrance exam. By following the JEE Advanced AAT 2022 syllabus, candidates can prepare well for the exam and understand the topics. The syllabus for the entrance exam were based on the following topics – Freehand Drawing, Geometrical Drawing, Three-Dimensional Perception, Architectural Awareness and Imagination and Aesthetic Sensitivity. Three-Dimensional Perception

  • Appreciation and understanding of 3-dimensional forms with building elements, colour, volume and orientation
  • Visualization through structuring objects in memory

Geometrical Drawing

  1. Exercises in geometrical drawing containing lines, triangles, angles, quadrilaterals, circles, polygons, etc. 
  2. Study of plan (top view), elevation (front or side views) of simple solid objects like cones, prisms, cylinders, splayed surface holders, cubes, etc. 

JEE Advanced AAT Result 2022

Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay will announce the result of JEE Advanced AAT in online mode on September 17, 2022. Candidates can check the JEE Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT result ) by visiting the official website – jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates will have to enter their application number and date of birth in the login window to check the JEE Advanced AAT Result. Through the result, the candidates will know their secured score and the qualifying status. No separate ranking is done for JEE Advanced AAT.

The Joint Implementation Committee of JEE Advanced 2022 sets the cut-off marks for qualifying AAT. Candidates meeting the cut-off marks are eligible for the B.Arch admission process at the participating IITs. Qualifying candidates have to participate in JoSAA counselling for B.Arch admission to IIT as per their ranks.

JEE Advanced AAT Cut-off 2022

The cut-off of AAT JEE Advanced is the qualifying marks that candidates must secure in order to qualify for a seat allocation round in the three IITs. There are two types of cut-offs – the qualifying cut-off is to qualify for JEE Advanced 2022, and the admission cut-off is for IIT admissions.

The authorities will use the cut-off as a screening process. While preparing the cut-off, the authorities will consider various factors related to the entrance examination, such as the difficulty level of the exam, the previous year’s cut-off trends, the number of applicants and more.

JEE AAT 2022 Seat Allotment

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct the seat allotment of AAT JEE Advanced 2022. All the qualified candidates will have to register for JoSAA 2022. During the seat allotment process, the candidates will be shortlisted based on their rank, category, preferences and availability of seats.

Qualified candidates will be allotted seats for B.Arch admissions in IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur. After the allotment is done, the candidates will have to go for the verification of documents. Further, they will have to report to the allotted institute for confirmation of admission.

  • JEE Advanced Admit Card.
  • JEE Advanced Provisional Seat Allocation Letter.
  • JEE Advanced Rank Card.
  • Class 10th and 12th Marksheet.
  • JEE Advanced Counselling Form.
  • Two Passport Size Photos.
  • Category Certificate, if applicable.
  • Medical Certificate.
  • Any other documents if prescribed.

AAT JEE Advanced 2022: Exam Day Instructions

Candidates appearing for the JEE Advanced AAT 2022 exam must follow important exam day instructions:

  • Reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the exam time.
  • No entry into the exam centre after gate closing time.
  • Candidates are not allowed to leave the exam centre before 12:00 PM.
  • Candidates have to carry the JEE advanced admit card 2022 on the JEE Advanced AAT exam day. No separate AAT JEE Advanced 2022 admit card wasissued.
  • Proper social distancing has to be maintained during the exam.
  • Read thoroughly the instructions given on the question paper before the commencement of the exam.
