November 8, 2024Indian Air Force Recruitment 2022: On July 22, 2022, the Government of India informed the Lower House of Parliament that 5,789 vacancies are available in the Indian Air Force. Out of which, 572 posts are vacant for Officers and 5217 vacancies are for Airmen. Indian Air Force (IAF) released a notice regarding the recruitment to the post of Lower Division Clerk on May 21, 2022. The IAF selection process consists of three stages: a written test or adaptability test-1 & test 2, PFT, and a medical examination.
Candidates need to be between the ages of 18 to 25 years to apply for the IAF exam. The Group C Civilian posts are Cook, Mess Staff, House Keeping Staff, MTS, Hindi Typist, LDC, Store Keeper, Carpenter, Painter, Superintendent and Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver.
