The Kerala Board of Public Examinations (KBPE) is an independent, non-profit organisation, responsible for the regulation and supervision of education in Kerala. Set up in 1965, the KBPE is the primary educational body in Kerala and functions under the Ministry of Secondary Education, Government of Kerala. It is responsible for devising courses of study, prescribing syllabus, and conducting exams for all grades from Classes 1 to 12. The KBPE also conducts public examinations such as SSLC, ALEVEL, TTC, KGTE, KTET, THSLC, SSC And HSC.
The KBPE’s mission to ‘Reach the Unreached’ focuses on empowering students through education and skill, with special emphasis on marginalised, socio-economic, and religious sections. The Kerala 10th Board SSLC examination is conducted annually. Students give exams for subjects like Language I, II, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Social Science. Kerala Board Class 10 registration process is expected to begin in November 2022. The SSLC registration forms are released on the official website kbpes.org.
