About Exam

The Government of Mizoram established the Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) in 1975. The board is based in Aizwal, Mizoram. The MBSE regulates, supervises, and controls all school-related activities. Every year, approximately 40,000 students sit for the Mizoram Board 10th exams. After completing Class 10, students are required to select a specific stream, such as Arts, Commerce, or Science, based on their interests.

Students who have completed Class 9 and studied Class 10 from the Mizoram Board or another recognised education board will be eligible to sit for the Mizoram Board 10th exams 2024. MBSE develops and enforces rules for all Mizoram State Board-affiliated public and private schools. The Board is also responsible for the prescribed curriculum for regular and vocational students. Besides overseeing all administrative work in the schools, the MBSE administers exams for both public and private schools.

Mizoram Board Class 10 Exam Summary 2024

The MBSE Board administers the Higher Secondary School exams. The Mizoram State Board releases exam timetables, admit cards, exam centres, paper patterns, and results. Mizoram Board Class 10 Registration Process 2024

Exam Pattern

The state has decided to go back to the old method of registering students for the MBSE Class 10 examination. The school officials have been instructed to collect applications from their district offices. It is the responsibility of the school authorities to submit a soft copy along with the hard copies containing the candidates’ information. 

Students are also encouraged to provide accurate information to avoid any last-minute confusion. Only schools affiliated with the board under the MBSE Examination Bye-Laws 2008 can submit applications for their students. Private students or students who have passed the Class 10 examination 2024 and want to improve their results can also fill out the application form. 

This provision does not apply to students who have begun the academic year for the 11th grade. All students who apply for the examination must have a registration number. Candidates can select Mizo, Hindi, Nepali, Bengali, Manipuri, or Alternative English as their Major Indian Language (MIL).

Exam Syllabus

The Mizoram Board Class 10 curriculum includes five main subjects, two of which are languages. The one paper will be for the English language, or the language papers may vary depending on the school. Mizoram Board Class 10 Admit Card 2024

The MBSE generally conducts the Class 10 exams in February/March every year. According to the notification, the admit card is released 30-35 days before the start of the examinations. Following this, the concerned school authorities distribute the admit card to each student. 

Students must bring their respective admit card to the board exams. Once the registration process for all districts in the state is completed, the board distributes hall tickets to aspiring students. It is the most important part of the examination and without it students are ineligible to take the examination. 

The admit card includes the personal information of the student. The MBSE Class 10 results were released on May 11, 2023, while the Mizoram Board supplementary results were issued on June 26, 2023. MBSE Class 10 result 2023 includes the student’s personal information, subject-wise marks, overall marks, percentage, and more. 

The MBSE Class 10 result is provisional. After a few days, students can pick up their original mark sheets from the school administration. Students who are dissatisfied with their MBSE Class 10 result will be able to apply for re-evaluation of their answer sheets.

About Exam

The MBSE Class 10 supplementary exam 2024 will be held for students who did not pass the regular examinations. The MBSE Class 10 supplementary routine will be available on the board’s official website. The Mizoram board usually publishes the MBSE Class 10 supplementary exam application forms online shortly after the regular board exam results are released.
