An RBI Assistant makes a basic salary of Rs.20,700/- per month. After an increment, which happens once a year, the monthly salary rises. In addition to the Basic Pay, the RBI Assistant additionally receives additional allowances such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance, etc. Therefore, the monthly Gross Salary for an RBI Assistant (without HRA) is in the amount of Rs.47,849/-.
