WBJEE Seat Allotment 2022: WBJEEB released the WBJEE seat allotment 2022 round 1 result for JEE Main candidates. The second round of WBJEE seat allotment results on September 15, 2022. Registered candidates can check their respective allotments by logging in with their WBJEE roll number, password, and security pin. WBJEE Seat Allotment 2022 Eligibility

Candidates meeting the seat allotment eligibility criteria of WBJEE 2022 can participate in the WBJEE seat allotment rounds. The officials have specified the requirements that candidates need to possess for the counselling and seat allotment round. Find below the eligibility criteria.

1. The candidates qualifying for the WBJEE with a general merit rank (GMR) are eligible to participate in the seat allotment round.
2. Those with All India Rank are entitled to participate in the seat allotment round against 10% sanctioned seats.

WBJEE Seat Allotment 2022: Check the Complete Procedure

The seat allotment process for West Bengal JEE started on September 7, 2022. As per their merit list rank, all the shortlisted candidates will be eligible to appear for the consecutive rounds of seat allotment of WBJEE. There will be three rounds of counselling and seat allotment for the candidates. Check below the process of WBJEE seat allotment-

 Registration and Counselling Fees

The candidates were required to register via online mode for the counselling and seat allotment round. Registration for WBJEE counselling was available till September 1, 2022. They need to pay a counselling registration fee of Rs. 300 to participate in the process. A login Id and password were generated after a successful registration.

 Choice-Filling

The candidates need to give their preference for institute and course in choice-filling and locking. The registered aspirants must choice-fill to participate in the seat allotment process.

WBJEE Seat Allotment 2022 Rounds

WBJEEB authorities are conducting three rounds of seat allotment for WBJEE-qualified candidates. The third seat allotment round will be the WBJEE mop-up round conducted after reviewing the seat availability for candidates who have not been offered seats in the first two rounds.

WBJEE Seat Allotment Process 2022: Round 1

Candidates can appear for seat allotment after providing their preference in the choice filling. The authorities released the seat allotment result of round 1 on September 7, 2022. Seat acceptance (withze or upgrade) and payment of provisional admission fees by the candidate can be done from September 7 to 12, 2022 (till 6.00 p.m.). The aspirants need to carry the specified documents for verification to complete the process of admission.

 Selection of upgradation

The candidates can select the up-gradation option if they are not satisfied with the seat and can appear for the subsequent rounds.

Selection of No-upgradation

The aspirants can choose no up-gradation if they are satisfied with the allotted seat and must report to the centre for further process.

 WBJEE 2022 Seat Allotment Process 2022: Round 2

WBJEE 2022 counselling round 2 seat allotment result was issued on September 15, 2022. Seat acceptance (withze or upgrade) and payment of provisional admission fees by the candidate were opened from September 15 to 19, 2022. The candidate cannot fresh fill the choice and can appear for the second round of seat allotment with the choices in the first round. 

 WBJEE 2022 Seat Allotment Process: Mop-up Round

WBJEE 2022 Mop-up choice filling round (for vacant seats) will remain open from September 21 to 23, 2022. Candidates who have not been offered in the first two rounds of seat allotment can appear for the third round (mop-up round). The officials allot the seats to the candidates based on the availability of seats, entrance and reservation criteria. How to Check WBJEE WBJEE 2022 Mop-up Round Seat Allotment Result?

1. Visit the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in.
2. Find the “WBJEE” icon, and click on it.
3. On the new page, click on the Link “View Seat Allotment Result for Mop Up Round“.
4. Fill in your WBJEE Roll Number, Password and Security Pin (as displayed on the screen).
5. Then click the “Sign In” button, and the result will appear on the screen.

What are the options after WBJEE Seat Allotment?

Once a candidate has been allotted a seat in the WBJEE seat allotment round, they have three options left. They can accept andze their seat, accept and choose for up-gradation or do nothing. Each of the three options available after the WBJEE 2022 seat allotment has been explained below-

Accept the seat andze the allotted seat: In this option, a candidate has to accept the seat allotment by paying the seat acceptance fee. Then the candidate needs to download the WBJEE seat allotment letter for physical verification by the WBJEE-associated institutes.

Accept the seat and choose up-gradation: In this option, a candidate has to click on “Upgradation= Yes” during the seat allotment round. The candidate still needs to pay the seat acceptance fee. The candidate must download the WBJEE seat allotment letter for physical verification by the WBJEE-associated institute.

Do nothing in the WBJEE seat allotment: If a candidate chooses to do nothing after the seat allotment, then such a candidate will not be eligible for WBJEE admission in the current WBJEE Seat allotment round. The concerned seats of these candidates will be allotted to the candidates who have paid the seat acceptance fee and selected the up-gradation option.
