Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS Pilani) has released the BITSAT information notification on BITSAT 2023 (Phase 1 and 2) on the official website. Per the BITSAT 2023 schedule, the BITSAT 2023 Phase 1 application process started on January 31, 2023, and will continue until April 15, 2023 (revised). BITSAT Registration 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling out the BITSAT application form 2023. The BITSAT 2023 eligibility criteria for online registration and application are as under:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates who have qualified for 10+2 or equivalent exams from any approved board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) can appear for BITSAT.
• Qualifying Marks: To appear for the BITSAT 2023, they must have secured 75% marks in the PCM group. Candidates should individually secure at least 60% marks in each Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their respective Class 12 examinations. Candidates should have the necessary proficiency in English.
• Age Limit: Passed the Class 12 exam in 2022 or 2023.

Documents Required for BITSAT Registration

While filling out the BITSAT application form, candidates must keep their documents and details handy. Candidates must keep the below-mentioned documents and details handy before filling out the BITSAT 2023 application form as they are mandatory:

• Email ID
• Mobile Number
• Class 12 Certificate (if available)
• Class 12 Mark Sheet (if available)
• Mark sheet of Class 10
• Scanned copy of the candidate’s photograph. The photograph should be in JPEG or JPG format. The file size can be 4 Kb -100 Kb.
• Scanned copy of the candidate’s signature. It should be in JPEG or JPG format and should be between 1 to 40 Kb.
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• PWD Certificate (if applicable)
• Bank Details (for online payment of application fee)

How to Fill BITSAT Application Form 2023

Candidates must fill out the online application form within the prescribed date by visiting the official website, bitsadmission.com. The application form filling-up for the BITSAT includes multiple steps such as registration, submitting details, uploading documents, paying the application fee, and more. BITSAT Registration

The first step for candidates to submit the BITSAT form is registration. Registration is a mandatory process. Only those candidates who have successfully filled out the application on or before the deadline will be eligible to appear for BITSAT 2023.

BITSAT registration involves entering details such as mobile number, email ID, gender, date of birth, etc. The candidates will receive their registration number and password upon completing the registration process. Candidates must keep it safe as it will be useful throughout the BITSAT admission process.

These login credentials will be required during the entire examination process, and it is ideal for keeping all the important academic documents in one place to ease the application process.

Filling out the Application Form

Once the login credentials are generated, candidates can proceed to fill out the BITSAT application form. The application form includes entering personal details, academic details, and test centre preferences. 

While filling out the application form, candidates must choose 3 BITSAT exam centres. One of these exam centres will be mentioned on the candidates’ admit cards.

Uploading Documents

In the next step, candidates must upload their recent photograph and signature in the format mentioned on the BITSAT website.

Payment of Application Fee

The last step in the application process is the fee payment. Candidates are instructed to pay the BITSAT exam fee on or before the due date. Those who fail to do so will not be eligible to appear in the examination. The tentative application fee for BITSAT 2023 is as follows:

The personal details to be filled in are:

• Parent’s Name
• Nationality
• Address
• City
• Pincode
• State
• Mobile number

Academic Details

The academic details to be filled in are:

• Name of institute presently studying in / last attended
• Qualifying examination
• Name of the exam board
• Passing year
• Choice of the subject as part IV of BITSAT

Test Centre Preferences

The exam centres for BITSAT 2023 are yet to be released. There were 60 centres in India, including the Pilani, Hyderabad, and Goa campuses, in which BITSAT exams were conducted last year. There were also two other international exam centres – Kathmandu, Nepal, and Dubai, UAE- where candidates could appear for their BITSAT exams.

Candidates can go through the complete list of BITSAT exam centres and select three places as per their test city preferences. The authorities consider the test city preference while allotting the test centre to the candidate. Candidates must choose the slot from the test city they will be allotted.

BITSAT Application Form Correction

If any candidate provided incorrect details in the BITSAT form application process, they could correct the same through the correction window process.

Although BITS provides the privilege to candidates to correct the information provided in the application forms, it is necessary that candidates stay focused and do not make any errors while filling in the BITSAT application form 2023. Similar to the process of filling up the BITSAT 2023 application form, the window for correcting the forms also stays open for a specific time within which candidates will have to submit them

BITSAT Slot Booking 2023

After completing the BITSAT application form, BITS opens a window for slot booking. BITSAT 2023 will be conducted on multiple days and in multiple slots to offer convenience for candidates. Once the slots are announced on the official website, candidates can choose their preferred BITSAT slot. If a candidate fails to do so, the system will auto-book a slot that may or may not be their preferred choice.

The official website of BITSAT hosts the login window for BITSAT slot booking. By any chance, if the candidates miss the slot booking process, the institute books the slots for the candidate.
